Coordinator – Marketing and Export Development

Position Details: Full Time, Temporary 6 months, remote working

Salary: $20-28/hour commensurate with experience

facilitate emissions reductions, energy efficiency and strategic climate adaptations by taking a science-based approach
using climate-conscious decision metrics. We work to create opportunities and programs that successfully achieve

Fundamental Inc is carbon neutral through the purchase of offsets. We aim to be climate positive by annually
purchasing twice as many offsets as we emit in a year. We have signed the UNFCCC Climate Neutral Now Pledge – and
have an emissions reduction plan in place targeting 50% emissions reduction by 2023 from our 2019 baseline.

We are currently seeking an individual to fill the temporary position of Coordinator – Marketing & Export Development.

The candidate will be responsible to implement activities identified as priorities within our marketing plan and export
development strategy, including:

 Development of a social media presence, ‘voice’, and content for Fundamental Inc
 Development of relationships with other media outlets, e.g. the Telegram, CBC Radio NL, VOCM, etc to promote
brand awareness and visibility of Fundamental Inc as a thought leader in climate action consulting and cleantech
industry
 Development of communication content and support for formalizing the sales pipeline process
 Support for developing and submitting documentation required to obtain a B-Corp designation for Fundamental
 Support for developing exports – specifically to the Caribbean region by implementing the first two activities in
our Export Development Plan, ie. Identification of firms doing work in the region with whom we can partner,
and tracking procurement calls and opportunities with the major projects/funders in the region.

The ideal candidate will have:

 A degree or diploma related to marketing, business development, communications, international economic

development, or similar
 2-5 years’ experience working in a professional role
