My House
Hands build house, hearts build home

A house is a place where you and your family feel welcome and at ease,
a place where there is happiness, warmth, melodrama, laughter, excitement,
sorrow, hope and care. A house is a place where you are most comfortable and
cozy. It is where you can relax, cook and eat your favorite meal and live with your
loved ones. House is a place where your family and loved ones can help you make
sense of life when life becomes chaotic and complicated. In simple words, House
is a place where your troubles are swept away.
Home is the resort of love, joy, peace and plenty where supporting
and supported, polished friends and dearest relatives mingle into
bliss.

House is a little world where one lives according to his rules. House is not
just a building but a place where you always want to return to. One feels safe,
comfortable and secure at his house. It gives you an opportunity to turn some of
your dreams into reality.
A man’s house is his castle.
The world consists of all types of people. Some are fortune enough to have
their house while some aren’t. In this sensitive point of time when the majority
of population is living below the poverty line, to own a house is no less than a
blessing. So, I am thankful and blessed to be protected by four walls.
 Be grateful for the home you have, knowing
that at this moment, all you have is all you need.

It is our parent’s hard work that has given us this blessing. I live in a beautiful
house, situated in a new and large colony of city. There is a bus stop nearby. My
house is a place where I feel comfortable and confident and where I want to
spend as much time as possible.
Home is where love resides, memories are created,
friends always belong, and laughter never ends.
My house is made of bricks, wood, tiles and marble. The floor is fully made
of marble. Each of the bedrooms is large, airy and well-lit. Our dining hall is also
beautifully decorated. Downstairs there is a lounge which is general living room
with television. Upstairs are the bedroom and the children’s room. The drawing
room with a large window faces the front lawn. The lawn in my house is very
attractive. We have planted many flowers in it.
The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies.
There are many advantages of having a garden in house. Firstly, it gives us
instant access to fresh vegetables and fruits. Secondly, growing your own
vegetables and fruits gives you complete control over the chemicals used during
the growing process. Above all, a garden provides us an opportunity to leave
positive environmental impact. Higher than all, planting a garden provides
enjoyment. Watching your own garden growing offers a sense of satisfaction and
reduces stress level.
We might think we are nurturing our garden, but of course it’s our
garden that is really nurturing us.

My whole house is airy and sunny. It has also a drawing room, a study and
kitchen. The doors and windows are made of wood. Some pictures are hanging
on the walls. We share household work and always consider the needs and
comforts of each other. My house is not big and luxurious still it is a place where
we can find happiness and joy.
 To sum up, house is an urgent need of life. It gives human a sense of security
and safety. My house is not very big or a magnificent building but it is not like
other houses I have seen. It has strange charm for me. It is my temple and cozy
corner at the same time. At the end of our tiring day it is the refuge of our house
that we seek so fervently. It would not be wrong to quote that:
Home is the place where your feet
may leave but your heart will always be.
