Bago kami kinasal ng wife ko 6 year na kaming magsyuta. That time gusto ko na talaga mga-asawa. The
problem was wala akong pera. So while in the ministry I decided magtrabaho ako sa call center. Nagulat

muna kayo. Then the rest will follow. 10k lang pera ko nun sa ATM. Kaya nagtatalo sa isip ko yung hindi
mag-ipon muna, hindi magdecide na. Pero I know direction ni Lord yun samin. Sige mamamanhikan na
ako. Alam nyo nakakatuwa when we followed God’s direction, nagkanya-kanya ng sagot yung mga
kamag-anak, tapos yung ilang ninong at ninang pinauna na yung cash gift nila sa amin para may pang-
expenses na daw kami. In short nakasal kami ni Gay wala kaming utang whatsoever then may pambili pa
kami ng mga gamit sa bahay. More or less gastos namin sa kasal mga 200k. Si MJ mga 500k siguro yan.

So even if hindi yun ang plano mo, pero dahil yun ang direction ni Lord, sundan mo

The word translated “trust” in verse 5 means “to lie helpless, facedown.” It pictures a servant waiting for
the master’s command in readiness to obey, or a defeated soldier yielding himself to the conquering
general. The danger, of course, is that we lean on our own understanding and thereby miss God’s will.
This warning doesn’t suggest that God’s children turn off their brains and ignore their intelligence and
common sense. It simply cautions us not to depend on our own wisdom and experience or the wisdom
and experience of others. Abraham did this when he went to Egypt (Gen. 12:10–20), and so did Joshua
when he attacked the little town of Ai (Josh. 7). When we become “wise in [our] own eyes” (Prov. 3:7),
then we’re heading for trouble

That trust must be entire, with all your heart

“With all your heart” means entirely, without exception.

The proof that we’re not trusting God—even when we say we do—is when we turn to other sources first
to address life’s problems. If you want to know where your trust is, ask yourself, “Where do I turn first
when I need help?”

Your heart (1–8). What you do with your heart determines what you do with your life (Prov. 4:23).
Cultivate an obedient heart (v. 1) that receives God’s Word (v. 3; 2 Cor. 3:1–3) and a trusting heart that
obeys (vv. 5–6). Verse 5 does not suggest that you ignore your mind or common sense, but that you not
lean only on them and reject God’s way.

Do you have regrets in life?

I think we have learned a lot.
