Data Analysis

The data will be gathered from the respondents will be analyzed for the
purpose of answering the research questions. The interview will be transferred into
transcript to evaluate the answer of the respondents. Th researchers will use
narrative analysis. Narrative analysis is used to a common assumption of narrative
methods (Figgou et al, 2015) from the answers of the respondents with underlying
reasons as to why accountants shift to academe, the challenges they experience in
teaching accounting courses and the mechanisms they employ in order to perform
their duties as instructor. The Narrative analysis is useful and relevant that creates
the narratives from uncovering the underlying ideologies embedded in stories and
larger culture (Stokes, 2003). Th researcher will highlight the critical points and
important aspects of the transcript. The dialogic/performance analysis will use to
draw a conclusion. The analysis will focus on the who, what, and why of narrative
(Riessman, 2008). By these, the analysis will allow the researcher to have a greater
understanding of how the respondents constructed a worldviews by their
experiences.
