 Functionality
LED indicator:
• When communication is ongoing between hearing instrument and PC,
the LED (Light Emitting Diode) on the Speedlink will light. It will light
BLUE when communicating to the Left device, and ORANGE when
communicating to the Right device.
• When ready for use the LED will shine GREEN.
Compatibility:
Speedlink supports the following Operating Systems:
Windows XP, Windows 2000.
• Speedlink is compatible with GN ReSound Aventa 2.3 and later
• Speedlink is compatible with Beltone SOLUS 2.1 and later
Speedlink works with all hearing instrument models supported by the
above fitting software modules.
 
Important: Do not attempt to use Speedlink together with any
other fitting software unless explicitly instructed.
Functionality
Speedlink can co-exist on the same PC together with other Hearing In-
strument Programming Interfaces (i.e. HI-PRO, NOAHlink) when using any
other fitting software modules.
If you want to go back and use HI-PRO or NOAHlink with Beltone SOLUS,
or GN ReSound Aventa, open the preference screen in the respective
fitting software, and select the appropriate programming interface. Close
the fitting software and re-open it to activate the selection.
Use standard (HI-PRO/NOAHlink) hearing instrument programming cables
as connection between Speedlink and the hearing instrument.
Compatible programming cables are:
- CS44
- CS63
- CS64

 Functionality
Compliance:
Speedlink is EMC approved according to section 36.201 & 36.202 of
EN60601-1-2:2001 (corresponds to IEC60601-1-2).
It is recommended that Speedlink is only used together with other EMC
approved equipment.
System configuration with accessory was not part of UL investigation. Ac-
cessory equipment connected to the analogue and digital interfaces must
be in compliance with the nationally harmonized IEC standards (i.e. IEC
60950 for data processing equipment, IEC 60065 for video equipment,
IEC 61010-1 for laboratory equipment, and IEC 60601-1 for medical
equipment.) Furthermore all configurations shall comply with the system
standard IEC 60601-1-1. Everybody who connects additional equipment
to the signal input part or signal output part configures a medical system,
and is therefore, responsible that the system complies with the require-
ments of the system standard IEC 60601-1-1. If in doubt, consult the
 technical service department or your local representative.
Maintenance:
Cleaning is usually not necessary. If needed, use a soft, dry cloth.
Functionality
Do not attempt to open the device - no serviceable parts inside. If service
is required please return Speedlink to local sales representative or manu-
facturer.
Disposal:
In order to minimize environmental pollution, dispose the product accord-
ing to local standards and national regulations.
Warning:
Speedlink is not suitable for use in the presence of flammable mixtures.
Speedlink is not suitable for use in the presence of flammable
anaesthethic mixture with air or with oxygen or nitrous oxide. 
The unit must not be used for any other purpose than for hearing instru-
ment fitting.
Only use supplied USB cable for PC connection, and hearing instrument
cables specified by the supplier.

Conformité
Speedlink est certifié conforme CEM selon les sections 36.201 et 36.202
de la norme EN60601-1-2:2001 (correspondant à IEC60601-1-2).
Nous recommandons de n’utiliser Speedlink qu’avec un autre équipement
conforme CEM.
Le contrôle UL n’a pas porté sur la configuration de systèmes avec acces-
soires. Tout équipement accessoire connecté aux interfaces analogiques
et numériques doit être conforme aux normes CEI harmonisées au
niveau national (à savoir CEI 60950 pour les matériels de traitement de
l’information, CEI 60065 pour les appareils vidéo, CEI 61010-1 pour les
appareils de laboratoire et CEI 60601-1 pour les appareils électromédi-
caux). En outre, toutes les configurations doivent respecter la norme col-
latérale CEI 60601-1-1. Toute personne raccordant un équipement sup-
plémentaire à la partie entrée de signaux ou à la partie sortie de signaux
procède ainsi à la configuration d’un système électromédical et est donc

Entretien
En général, l’équipement ne nécessite pas de nettoyage. Si besoin, utilisez
un chiffon sec et doux.
Fonctionnalité
N’essayez pas d’ouvrir l’appareil : il ne contient aucune pièce réparable.
Pour tout service après-vente, veuillez retourner Speedlink à votre
représentant commercial local ou au fabricant.

Speedlink es una interfaz de programación para audífonos, en versión
