WRITING SENTENCES WITH ADJECTIVE (RELATIVE) CLAUSES

The two paragraphs below contain similar information about the positive effects of having
hobbies. However, one of the paragraphs sounds better than the other. Read the two paragraphs.
Which one do you think is better? Why?

POSITIVE EFFECTS OF HOBBIES

There are three positive effects of having hobbies in our lives. First of all, hobbies such as
music, dance, reading, story writing, sports, and painting are a lot of fun. You can enjoy these
activities. They are not related with work or other responsibilities. You can forget about the everyday
problems. They cause stress in you. Secondly, hobbies help you become more patient. You want to
develop a new hobby. You have to learn how to do something. This thing is new to you. You spend
