Overview

Dates: Saturday, September 18- Sunday, September 19 between 9 am to 5 pm.

Address: Picnic Grove 28, Elk Grove Township, IL 60008 (See map on Page 6).

Fundraiser information: All proceeds from this tournament will go towards the non-profit initiative Midwest Grows Green
(MGG) that helps parks across the Chicago area and the Midwest eliminate synthetic pesticide and fertilizer use.

Format: Eight teams of nine players each (See page 3). 6 v 6 or 7 v 7. Group stage on September 18 (see page 4). Knock-out
tourney on September 19 (see page 5).

Rules: Games scored to 15. Hard capped at 1 hour and 15 minutes. 10-minute half times. Will follow USA Ultimate rules (see
usaultimate.org/rules/). No gender ratios required.

Prizes: Team members of winning team will receive a $25 gift card to VII Apparel Co. and swag from Athletic Brewing Company.
Team member for the 2nd place team will receive a $20 gift card to Play It Again Sports -Schaumburg.

Snacks and Hydration: All players will have access to water from Culligan, smoothies from Stonyfield Organic, meat sticks from
Big Fork Brands and organic produce from Fruitful Yield Schaumburg. Finals MVPs and best defensive players (Male and Female)
will receive shirts from Agile Gear.

Beer and Liquor: Players of age (21+) can enjoy non-alcoholic beer from Athletic Brewing Company and Alcoholic beer from
Piece Brewery.

Lunch: MGG will provide lunch to players that paid the additional lunch fee. Franco’s Cucina will cater Saturday’s lunch.
Moretti’s Ristorante will cater Sunday’s.

After-Party: Global Brew Tap House at 339 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg, IL will host The Chicago Ultimate Frisbee Tournament
afterparty from 6 to 9 pm on Saturday, September 18. 5% of proceeds will go to MGG.

Zero-Waste Event: MGG wants to make this event as close to “zero-waste” as possible. To do so, MGG will have compost bins
to handle the Eco-Products plates and silverwear and left-over produce. Each player of age will receive one Red solo cup for
the beer and will be asked to throw-away in a separate container for recycling by Terracycle. Everything else should be
recycled.

Group stage scoring is three points for a win, one point for a draw, zero points for a loss. Each
group winner [e.g. team with the highest points] automatically receives the top two seeds in
the playoffs. Rest of the teams are seeded by score. Point differential will break ties.
