● There are 3 Groups of 5 Teams each.

● The top 2 teams from each Group Qualify for the Knockout
Stage.

● The 3rd Place teams will play a Round-Robin Tie Breaks and 2
of these teams will qualify for the Knockout Stage.

GROUP STAGE QUALIFYING RULES

● Two points for a win.

● The two teams with the highest points qualify. If the points are
the same then the game difference is considered.

 MATCH RULES
All matches except semi finals and finals will be in the following
format:

● 2 sets will be played on a "Fast 4" / “First to 4 Games” format. If

it is 1-1, a tiebreak of 7 points will be played. At 6-6 , a
deciding point is played (Receiver's choice of side).

● In all games, at 40-40 there will be an "Ad All" or "Golden

Point" system. One point decides the game. The receiving
team can choose who receives the service for this point.

● Fast 4 Format: The team or individual to reach 4 Games first

wins the set. If it is 3-3 a tie break of 5 points will be played. If it
is 4-4 in this tiebreak , a deciding point is played (Receiver's
choice of side).

● The team or individual starting the serve in the first set will start
receiving in the second set irrespective of the scoreline of the
previous set.

● Any player can start the service for the second set irrespective
of the serving order of the previous set.

● Players will change sides ONLY after a FULL set. Breaks will
be taken every 4 games and are optional. If either team or
individual wants a break, a break of 30 seconds is taken.

● For the 7 point tie break, sides change every 6 points.

1 min break for side change will be given.

● In the semi finals and finals a best of 3 sets will be played on a

"Fast 4" Format. The serving order will be maintained and sides
will change at Games1,3,5,7 ,9, etc. The tournament director
may modify this format in case of time constraints but
sufficient notice will be given to the players.

● Please report ON TIME. Not reporting within 5 min of your start

time will result in a walkover being awarded to the opponent.

● Only 2 minutes of warm up time on court will be given before a

match.

● In case of disputes, the decision of the Tournament Director and

the Tournament Committee will be final and binding.
