I would like to inform you that Special Olympics Bharat Punjab is organizing the 24th
Punjab State Special Olympics in collaboration with the District Special Olympics
Association Ludhiana (DSOA Ludhiana). The event will be held at Guru Nanak Public
School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana from 8th to 10th December 2023. Please follow the
schedule:

Entry of Schools through Gate No 3, 4 only

**Kindly note that Events for wheelchair athletes will be held on the second day
(09/12/2023). Parents and coaches are requested to plan accordingly, especially in case
of wheelchair athletes.

Note: Kindly prepare your athletes and coaches for cultural nights on the 8 th & 9th
December 2023. All are suggested to please perform with dance/singing/any act

 with appropriate costumes (if possible). It may also be noted that this is just an
entertainment program for me, not a competition.
Each participating school is required to get registered at the Registration Counter. You
will be provided with blank identity cards / some schools have already given them. You
are requested to kindly keep one passport-size photograph of the athlete and complete
these cards with photos and particulars of the athlete and get them signed at the
Reception Counter. All concerned are requested to please bring all the pending
documents (I.Q / disability certificates & others etc.) during the games.

Kindly check the following on a priority basis before departure:

1) Complete pending documents to be submitted on priority

2) Bring a School/SSA/DSOA banner with a flag
3) Make Chest numbers on both sides, those schools who have allotted
4) Bring a passport-size photograph of the athlete for Identity cards
5) Maintain the ratio of 1 coach for 4 athletes. An extra number of
coaches/parents will not be allowed, strictly.
6) Participants are required to bring their BLANKET, OWN BED SHEET &
PILLOW COVER. The host will provide the mattresses.
7) Maintain the time limit & discipline
8) No TA/DA will be paid
9) Lodging and boarding will be provided by the host
10) Ensure safety norms
If you have any expert coach willing to work voluntarily during the games, please
send his / her name separately. All the coaches and volunteers will be awarded with
certificates.
