Each player will play all the other players in their group once, 18 holes, Matchplay, Full Congu Handicap AT THE TIME OF PLAYING. Group Points and results The winner of each group match will be awarded 5 points Separate bonus points will be awarded for the winning margin e.g: A win by 4 & 3 will result in 4 Bonus points A win by 2 & 1 will result in 2 Bonus points And so forth
What happens in the group games if it is tied after 18 holes A play-off over 3 holes to decide the winner and repeated if required. NOTE, as the match is decided by a tie break, ONLY 1 BONUS POINT WILL BE AWARDED even if the winner has won after 2 holes

Bonus points will only come into play in case of a tie to determine which two players progress to the knock out stages and in which order (if 1 & 2) If players cannot be separated by the aggregation of the bonus points and the win points, then the RESULT of the match between the two tied player shall decide who qualifies. In the case of a 3 or 4 way tie where the above rules do not manage to provide the qualification places, the 3/4 players will play a one off 18 hole stableford round to decide on the qualifier/s standard competition rules would apply including count back if required. QUARTERFINALS onwards: Each match to be played over 36 holes, handicaps and rules have already been stated. In case of a tie at the end of 36 holes, the match will be decided on a best of 3 holes basis. The reasoning for this is that if the 2 players are tied after 36 holes, then it is unfair to decide on just 1 hole! This would be repeated until there is a winner. Time Frames: The group stages to start at ANYTIME after the draw but to be completed NO LATER THAN Sunday 25th May allowing the participants to play their 4 rounds over an 8/10 week period. Each Round thereafter will have a 3 week window (Allowing for the monthly competitions to fit in during April/May/June/July) Conclusion would be mid-late July, allowing time for the Harish Jethwa Memorial Trophy KO to kick in soon after and we have to account for the Holiday Season August/September

VENUES The competitors can decide which venue/s they want to play at. In case of disagreements over this, Haste Hill and Ruislip become the default, of there are still disagreements, the venue will be decided at a toss of a coin from the 2 default venues. On completion of the Tournament, The Hatari Core Group to seek permission from the Monthly Sponsor to award the Jethwa Matchplay trophies on the same evening as that months Competition out of courtesy.
