CREATING A NEW PRESENTATION

To create:

1. Click File menu, click New


and the available templates
are displayed.
2. You can also type in the
Search box if you want to
look for other designs from
online sources and click the
Search button.
APPLYING SLIDE LAYOUT
To apply:

1. On the Ribbon, click Home


tab, go to the Slides group
and click the Layout button.
2. When the Office Theme
gallery appears, click the
layout you want to apply.
3. Or, click the New Slide
button and the Office theme
gallery appears.
***If you use a unique slide layout, such as Quote with Caption or Name Card,
and then switch to a theme that does not include that layout, it may give
unexpected results.

***once you’ve applied a theme, you can also select a variant for that theme
from the Variants group. Variants use different theme colors while preserving
a theme’s overall look. Some variants also use different textures.

To add:

1. Click the slide that you want to


add a transition.
2. Click the Transitions tab, go to
the Transition to This Slide
group.
3. Click the arrow and select from
the transition design gallery.
