Procurement Steps

The five steps in the procurement process are Purchase requisition, Purchase order, Goods

Receipts, Invoice verification, and Vendor Payment. Accounting documents are created in the

goods receipts to show what was order. They are called material records. The show that the

materials order are the materials that will eventually be received.
