Introduction The HYCO oi! punp,a specially designed high quality screw gear puno, has been developed out of HYCOH's extensive experience in wanufacturing refrigeration screw compressors for pany years. ‘The puno Incorporates a specially designed rotor profile,a male rotor with four(4) lobes and a ferale rotor provided with six(6) lobes. The HYCOH o/| puap, therefore, has the following special characteristics not found on usual gear puaps: Features: e 1) Assures higher puaping efficiency In comparison with usual gear pumps, the HYCOH screw gear pump assures for higher Dunpine efficiency. 2) Compactness and high performance The HYCOM of! punp has larger displacement per rotation than other gear pumps Drovided with gear profile of the sane-size (Dia. x Width) as the screw gear pump rotor. ‘The dimensions of the HYCOH oi} pump are therefore relatively snal ler than those of other punps of equivalent capacity, e 3) Wide selection of r.p.m, and displaceaent ‘The MYCOH O11 puxD offers a wide selection of r.p.m. specs frox low to high speed, and puap displacement can eastly be selected based on r.p.m., * 4) Ho axial thrust means longer Hite ‘Axial thrust has been conpletely eliminated In the HYCOM oi! puap by utilization of a double helical rotor profile. This winimizes bearing wear and assures longer fe of the puap. é 06/27/2001 WED 19:02 {TX/RX NO 6507) 20018 GABE 118059 UIE No. 5534 -P, 5/27 5) Less noise and vibration during operation 6) High seating efficiency ‘The mechanical seal material has approximately two tines of the frictional durability of parts made of cesented carbide. The mechanical seal of the HYCOH oi! pump is made of silicon carbide to assure long service life. 06/27/2001 WED'19:02 [TX/RX NO 6507] @oos 20018 6A28B 118059 URNS No $534 P. 6/27 2. CO, LTD. Moriya COMPRESSORS & PACKAG [shea MY COM open oe Technical Features April 81 MP-O1 MYCOM lubricating pump HP series is a highly efficient gear type lubricating pump employing double helical gears. ‘This pump has precision made special profile gears composed of one 4-tooth male roter and one 6-tooth female rotor. Technical features 1) Better pump efficiency compared with conventional gear pumps. 2) Higher capacity in spite of small dimensions. MP series pump has more displacement st one rotation compared with conventional gear pump of the sane dimensions. (diameter x length) 3) Suitable for high revolution up to 3600 rpm which provides easy selection of correct pump capacity only by revolution. 4) MoM axtal force because of the double helical gear which assures less occurrence of bearing troubles and longer machine life. 5) Less noise and vibration. 6) Suitable for use under high pressure by balance type mechanical shaft seal. 7) Less power consumption. Double helical gear makes force and less friction power at gear end. 8) Gongon replacenent parts can miniaize parts stock and maintenance cost. MP series has all common parts except "MALE" and "FEMALE" drive rotor assembly. ALL other parts, bearings, shaft seal, casing covers are ident‘~ cal to all nodels. MAYEKAWA MFG. CO.,LTD.
