Course Description Unconventional Machining processes and analysis (AJM, AFM, WJM, USM, MAF, MRF, EDM, WEDM, USM, PAM, LBM, EBM, FIBM, ECM, ECG, ESD etc.), Introduction to micro and nano fabrication, Micro- forming and Micro Joining, Characterization of micromachined structures, Additive manufacturing (Algorithm, technologies and processes such as SLA, FDM, SLS, LOM, DMLS, LENS etc., Rapid tooling and Reverse Engineering. 2. Scope and Objective of the Course ‘The present course introduces theoretical and analytical knowledge about unconventional manufacturing processes and basic approach for modelling and simulation of the manufacturing processes. Moreover, it enables learners to understand the fundamentals and working principles of micro manufacturing techniques, additive manufacturing, CAM and surface technologies. Text Books © S.
