1. Explain the Term Standardization and Connect It to International Marketing.


Standardization for my explanation is agreements that everyone must follow, especially the
relevant party in an industry or more in the organization to ensure that all processes related to
making a product or performing a service are carried out. within. of established guidelines. And
its connection is that the general definition of global standardization is capable of using
marketing standards around the world. In other words, it is the ability for a company or business
to use the same marketing strategy from one country to the next, and across different cultures.

2. What Is Adaptation? Why Does a Global Business Need to Master This One?
My understanding of the word adaptation is the act or process of change to better suit a situation
and a feature or behavior that helps a living thing survive and function better in its environment.
For myself, I wonder why business adaptation is important? Because an organization’s ability to
adapt is a great competitive advantage, especially in the business world. An adaptable company
is open to new ideas and doesn’t have to do things just because they’re always that way. They
are also able to predict changes and do not panic when things do not go according to plan when
they are able to adapt to the different situations they face.

3. Explain One by One the Management Orientations


ETHNOCENTRISM is it is the word used by anthropologists to express their opinion
that a person’s way of life is natural or right. For example, when you judge another
country by the way they eat but there is no moral reason for it.

POLYCENTRISM might define as a host country orientation. It also reflects the goals
and objectives of the country’s leaders with respect to its various management strategies
and planning methods with regard to international operational activities. And for me, a
polycentric perspective is a belief that is like the management team of the organization
that is all over the world.

REGIOCENTRIC is an international recruitment method where managers from


different countries are selected within the geographical region of the business. In other
words, for me, managers are selected from within a region of the world very similar to
this country.

GEOCENTRIC is something that considers the Earth as the center. An example of


geocentric is the idea that the sun revolves around the earth. It means earth-centered,
which refers to orbits around the earth. In ancient times, this meant that the earth was the
center of the universe.
