SOP Title : Visitor Screening

Objective : To ensure the safety and security of our guests and employees by
controlling and/or preventing the entry of lethal weapons, suspicious items
and or suspicious person into the property.

Policy Specifics:

All personnel’s entering the properties is subject to physical body search and screening of all
personal property. This includes woman and children’s if applicable. Common sense will be
adhered to at all times. Every measure possible will be applied when conducting searches to
prevent embarrassing the guests and the property.

X-Ray machine
 All hand carried hand luggage, briefcases, pocket book, purses, bags, cell phone,
cameras, lap top, computers or packages of any kind will be sent though the x-ray
machine before entry to the properties.
 Personal clothing i.e. suit coats, lady shawl or formal covers are not require to be
removed unless the guest’s removes it of own free will.
 Verbiage: “Good....Sir/Madam. Please deposit any metal thing such as keys, coins,
cellphone, etc on the tray. Thank you”

Walk Through Metal Detector

 Limit number of guests waiting to be process. (one at a time)
 Remove all metal objects and hand carried item and place them on the x-ray
machine for screening.
 Prohibited items include fire arm, knife and explosive.
 Be thorough but avoid embarrassing the guest.
  Have the guest walk through metal detector.
 Alarm sound- hand held metal detector will be use to be locate source of
alarm.
 If source (cannot) be found and alarm continues to go off, ask the guest to
step aside and notified Security Supervisor.
 Do not let the guest enter the properties without locating and identifying
the alarm source.
 Verbiage: “Good Morning, Sir/Madam. May I conduct body search?
Please raise up your hands.”
 If the handheld buzzing on visitor’s centain body area
 Verbiage: ”Sir/Madam, please show me”

Hand Held Metal Detector

 Hand held metal detectors will be used when walk through units are not available or
to located the alarm source after walking through and alarming the walk through
detector.
 Position the guests.
 Legs slightly spread.
 Arms slightly spread from torso.
 Start to search from behind guest top to bottom, front to back and side to
side.
 Metal detector in one hand, the other hand free to respond to guest’s
movement.
 Keep detector 5-8 cm away from guest as your search.
 Be sure to cover exterior and interior areas i.e. inside legs, under arms.

 If alarm sounds please have guest identified source.

 Do not let guest to enter properties without identifying the source.

Physical Body Search

(These procedures are implemented for internal guest only. Such as: contractors, visitors,
suppliers, employees).
 All internal guests are subject to body searches before entering the properties.
Note: children under the age of 14 will be checked with hand held metal detector
only.
 If the alarm sounds the parent will be ask to identify the source on the child. Small
children should not be touched by Security Personnel.
 Position search from behind.
 Legs slightly spread.
 Arms slightly spread from torso.
 Start search from neck line from top bottom, front to back and side to side.
 Make sure you pay extra attention to the waist line. Under arms, inside legs
and ankle area.
  Be thorough but avoid embarrassing the guest and the hotel.
 If a suspect item is felt ask guest to identify the item.

 If weapons or explosive are found, quickly apprehend the person (controlling the
hands) and call the armed police in the building to help control situation.

Entry to Properties
 After all procedures are search techniques are completed and satisfied by the
security Officer, the guest will be allowed in to the property.
 If a guest chooses not to be search for any reason other than free approved
situation, they will be asking to leaved property.
 Non searched personnel will only be allowed access on the case by case basis i.e.
guarded High State Officials such as Minister, High Rank of Law Enforcement
personnel, State Ambassador, etc.

SOP Title : Pemeriksaan pengunjung

Objective : Untuk memastikan keselamatan dan keamanan para tamu dan

karyawan kita dengan cara mengontrol dan atau mencegah masuknya
senjata berbahaya, benda-benda mencurigakan dan atau orang-orang
mencurigakan memasuki wilayah kerja kita.

Policy Specifics:

Semua orang yang memasuki wilayah kerja kita harus melalui pengecekan secara fisik dan
pemeriksaan barang-barang bawaan mereka. Termasuk wanita dan anak-anak jika
memungkinkan. Penggunaan logika/akal sehat secara penuh setiap saat diperlukan. Setiap
pemeriksaan terukur dengan mematuhi norma-norma kesopanan akan dikedepankan untuk
mencegah agar tidak mempermalukan si pengunjung dan merusak citra gedung kita.

Mesin X-Ray

 Semua barang bawaan termasuk: tas jinjing. Koper, tas kerja, buku saku, handphone,
kamera, laptop, kotak, paket atau benda apapun yang masuk harus melalui mesin X-
Ray terlebih dahulu sebelum memasuki gedung.
 Pakaian luar tamu seperti jas, jaket, pasmina, atau pakaian luar resmi tidak
diperlukan untuk dilepas terkecuali atas keinginan tamu sendiri.
 Beri salam hormat dengan senyum yang tulus sebelum meminta tamu tersebut
untuk mengeluarkan benda-benda logam dari dalam kantung pakaiannya.
 Contoh percakapan: “Selamat Pagi/Siang/Sore, Bapak/Ibu. Tolong dikeluarkan
benda-benda logam seperti kunci, uang logam dan lain-lain kedalam tray. Terima
Kasih”
Pintu Keamanan Sensor Magnetik (PKSM)

 Usahakan agar tamu lewat satu persatu.

 Benda-benda yang dilarang masuk adalah termasuk senjata api, benda-benda tajam
(pisau, pedang, parang, dll), bahan peledak, dan lain sebagainya.
 Tamu bisa menitipkan senjata apinya pada safe deposit box yang kita miliki didalam
ruang CCTV.
 Beri salam hormat dengan senyum tulus kepada tamu sebelum meminta tamu
melewati PKSM.
 Ketika alarm PKSM berbunyi maka gunakan pendeteksi metal genggam
(PMG) untuk memastikan lokasi benda logam tersebut.
 Ketika PMG berbunyi minta tamu dengan sopan untuk mengeluarkan benda
tersebut.
 Contoh percakapan: “Tolong dikeluarkan, bapak/ibu. Mohon ijin.”

Pendeteksi Metal Genggam (PMG)

 PMG akan digunakan ketika PKSM tidak tersedia atau tidak bisa menentukan lokasi
benda logam yang dimaksud melalui PKSM.
 Posisikan tamu sebagai berikut:
 Minta tamu tersebut untuk merenggangkan kakinya
 Lalu membuka lengannya keatas
 Gunakan PMG untuk memeriksa mulai dari atas ke bawah, depan belakang
dan dari sisi ke sisi.
 Pastikan anda memusatkan perhatian pada bagian pinggang, area dibawah
lengan, area dalam kaki dan area tumit.
 Lakukan dengan teliti namun hindari sikap yang mempermalukan tamu
maupun citra baik dari perusahaan.
 Jika anda mendapatkan sesuatu yang mencurigakan, minta tamu untuk
menunjukkannya.
 Jika anda menemukan tamu tersebut memiliki senjata api atau bahan peledak yang
dapat membahayakan, secepatnya hubungi Security Supervisor lewat HT (gunakan
sandi yang telah disepakati). Segera hubungi kepolisian terdekat untuk tindakan
lebih lanjut.
Memasuki area gedung

 Setelah semua prosedur telah dilakukan dan dirasa memuaskan oleh petugas
keamanan maka persilahkan tamu untuk memasuki area gedung.
 Jika tamu tersebut menolak untuk diperiksa dengan alasan apapun, maka minta
tamu tersebut untuk meninggalkan area gedung.
 Adapun untuk orang-orang tertentu yang memang diijinkan untuk tidak diperiksa
maka harus dilihat dari persepsi khusus. Seperti Owner/pemilik gedung, para
menteri, pejabat militer tingkat tinggi, para duta besar, dan lain sebagainya.
