Life today

Nowadays, many people believe that our parents' life, when they were younger, was much
better than our current situation. However, I have to disagree. We cannot argue that, back in
the day, life was simpler but was it better?
First of all, we have to consider the technological advancements we have at our disposal
today which our parents didn’t have. Just imagine how unsafe would be going out on the
streets today without having a smartphone to call a friend if there’s an emergency. On the
other hand, If our parents had an emergency back in the day they would have spent a lot of
time waiting for something to help them. Apart from the fact that technology makes life safer,
it allows this generation to connect with people from different countries through the use of
social media, which was an impossible thing to do when our parents were younger.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that today’s life is better than it was for our parents. Life is
not only is safer now but more interesting than it was before.
