REVIEW:
Steak tartare
On the birthday of Mr. Bean he went to a restaurant in the city center, to celebrate this
important and happy day. There he chose the most delicious food for his dinner.
Mr Bean doesn’t often eat at restaurants because they are very expensive, and he sometimes
does the wrong thing when he’s in a new or unfamiliar place. And that night mr. Bean was
wearing a clean shirt, he was wearing his best coat, pants and shoes. He arrived at eight
o’clock and he walked into a very fine restaurant where everyone was dressed in their best
and there were flowers on every table. I will sit here think mr bean this is a good restaurant
for my birthday dinner
Then a manager came to meet him and asked him to sit down, when the manager left mr bean
sat quietly for a minute and he remembered something he took a birthday card and envelope
from his jacket he wrote happy birthday bean’ on the card, then he put the card he put it in an
envelope and wrote his name on the outside he put it on the table and put the pen back in his
jacket. Then his funny behavior started to come out when the manager came up to him and
offered him a menu he thought everything was very expensive and mr. Bean took out his
money he had a ten pound note and a few coins he put the money on a plate and counted it he
saw again what he could eat for eleven pounds fifty. Then there was a waiter who offered him
wine but he refused several times with the excuse that it didn’t make sense until the waiter
thought mr.bean was stupid.
Then mr.bean takes a knife and plays it he pretends to be a bad guy he pretends to push a
knife at someone but he doesnt really want to kill anyone. It was the next game he hit the
glasses and plates on his table with it ping,ping,ping,they left and after a minute he played
happy birthday on the glasses he smiled and thought I was so smart!!
The lady at the next table didn’t think that was smart or oh yeah. It was funny he thought
“that man is really stupid! And he glared at the master.
Mr. Bean didn’t like the food he pretended to eat the meat in Mr. Bean’s mouth but he didn’t
want to eat it. And he put them in the back of the pants of the guy playing the violin and in a
few places that ended up falling apart.
 Finally everything was resolved by a restaurant manager, and giving violin music to mr.bean
and mr.bean felt very happy and the problem was solved. And mr. Bean really enjoyed the
gift given by the restaurant manager.

The Launderette
One day mr.bean had a lot of laundry and decided to go to Launderette this morning thinking
I’d take the car.
He put his dirty clothes into a very large black bag and took the bag out to his car. Then he
came in and went to Launderette the washing machine wasn’t too busy that morning before
mr.bean arrived there were only two women there. The younger lady was with the manager
the manager said this is one of our bigger machines. Manager said use this at that time
mr.bean came carrying a black bag on his back. He took two one pound coins from his jacket
and put them on the machine but then mr.bean saw the note on the washing machine. The
machine now costs £3 he looks in his jacket and pants it’s still lacking he has another pound
but the pound is on the straps in his pants. Then he took the five pound coin into his jacket
then he opened the washing machine then the young man pushed the one pound coin mr.bean
into the next coin mr.bean got angry and then mr.bean started to put his clothes in the wash
there were some panties and put a few pairs into the machine always the next pair, Thursday,
Friday, Saturday three pairs go into the machine and he finds Wednesday pants. Because of
his strange behavior finally mr. Bean went into the laundry he screamed but no one heard
him, the clothes started to spin and Mr. Bean also spun along with his clothes to be dried.

➢Tell the summary of the novel?

Answer: Where on that day was mr.bean's birthday he wanted to enjoy it and made that
important day happy by going to a restaurant in the city center which was very good then
he ordered the most delicious food that was steak tartar but mr.bean didn't like it and did
strange things in the restaurant. and he went to a launderette to wash his clothes but by the
time he got there he started doing his silly stunts until he got into the washing machine
and went spinning with the clothes.

➢you want to change the ending of the story and why?

 Answer : Don't want to change it because it's quite interesting and entertaining for the
readers. With his funny behavior, Mr. Bean.

➢Who is your favorite karakter and why?

Answer: Mr.bean because he is a funny character, unique, sometimes weird too but
still entertaining.
➢ Do you like or dislike this novel and why?
Answer : I like it because the novel is interesting and there are some scenes that make
you laugh because of Mr. Bean’s funny action so it doesn’t bore the readers.

➢ What can you learn from the novel?

Answer : don't act in action and have to think before acting if you act it will harm
ourselves and others

➢What is the message of the story?

Answer: Don't be reckless which ends up harming yourself and you have to be
careful in various things
