Library management systems (LMS) are used to track the mobility of books and keep track of
the library's subscribers. The ability for members to look for books by titles, authors, or category
is a system requirement in library administration. All of the library's operations are very
automated using this system. Implementing library management system software is the best
approach to keep, arrange, and manage a large number of books in an organized manner. My
business idea is to create an application that, when combined with the library system software,
allows a user to get updates and information on the library's resources. The LMS are usually put
in place to help the librarians to organize resources and make work efficient. The application will
enable a user to be able to not only get access to a particular book or article easily when they are
at the library, but will also inform them of activities that are in the library. For example,
whenever the library sources new resources, it notifies its members of new material; enable the
user to easily communicate and borrow materials etc. The application will make users to be more
involved about the activities, resources and events of their local library at the comfort of their
home, as one will only have to download the application, register and explore. The application
will be tailored to link with any library in one’s area, by a matter of searching the library’s name
and location and one registers at a small fee. The application will be accessible to persons from
the age of ten years, and will also have a voice-activated option for persons who are disabled
visually. In addition, the application will make the process of borrowing, returning and picking
up of resources much easier. The application will not require much equipment needed to be
installed, just to merge software’s, a wireless connection and for a user to be able to access a
primary stakeholders will be students of a particular university, the educational partners such as
teachers, tutors, after school programs and researchers. The secondary stakeholders are persons
and organizations who reside in the larger society and might not be able to take advantage of
library activities and resources right away. They would, however, encourage the library's growth
and publicize their support using social ties. This application will enable libraries to keep their
resources that are present, borrowed and probably lost into account and encourage users to use
the resources that are made available by the library 24/7. It will be a cost effective software
application that can be integrated with different management systems from schools, workplaces,
