WHO KILLED GERONIMO?

INFORMATION/LEADS GATHERED

• On January 9, 2016 at around 6:08 in the evening., a phone call was received by the Police Station of
Quezon

City in the Person of Brian, a Security guard of Apartment 1014, saying that there was a discovered dead
body

lying on the floor on the Apartment 1014 of the exact time.

• The dead body was identified as Geronimo Dela Torre, owner of the Apartment 1014, single, an

entrepreneur, engaged in various business-related works such as Rent -a- Car, Money Lending Service,
Pawns

hop, Laundry Shop and Rent -t o-Own House, a resident of Quezon City. Based on the initial findings

Geronimo was killed by a gunshot wound in the head that resulted to his sudden death. The trajectory
of a

bullet in the head show s that he was shot from the right and found to be that Geronimo was right-
handed.

• Initial investigation disclosed that the person who saw the dead body was Estong, the building
maintenance

boy of the Apartment. According to him he found the dead body at around 3:30 to 5:00pm and reported
it to

Brian the security Guard. Brian was on duty (day shift) that day. He was the one who called the police
from

nearby station, upon learning of Geronimo's death.

• Logbooks and CCTV footage were checked and verified as a result there were no CCTV footage
available, but

according to the guard's logbook, Kisha the secretary of Geronimo was seen at the day before he was
seen

dead, and Geronimo's Cellphone is missing. Brian and Estong were taken into Custody for further
investigation.

• Personnel of the police station temporary closed the apartment upon order, barricaded the crime
scene and

conducted further search and investigation, for pieces of evidence, suspects and persons involved, also

secured possible threats around the area.

• Based on the results of the Conducted Interrogation to suspects, Marco, Kisha, Brian and Estong, each
of the

have stated their own statements and alibi.

• Upon further investigation on the case, it is found that there are people whom Geronimo knew and
talked

with, on the past few days before the incident happened. Investigator on case considered Brian,Est
ong,Kisha

as suspects and they were subjected for questioning.

• During the questioning, the IOC askedBrian and Estong, who else are the people that they know,
Geronimo

had a conversion with or meet before the incident happen? Brian mentioned that he was a newly hired
body

Guard of the apartment and what he only knew is that Geronimo has a wife named Kisha and a friend in
the

person of Marco who visited several times in the apartment. He further said that Estong was his close
friend,

and they are living on a same boarding house near the Apartment that they are working.

• As to Estong, he told the IOC that, what he only knew is the day he witnessed a war of words between
Marco

and Geronimo, on Jan. 7, 2016 one in the morning and another in the afternoon along the corridor of
the

Apartment. He further stated that the word was about certain amount of money which made Geronimo
so angry.

• Investigator on case conducted an operation in locating and taking into Custody the mentioned
persons Kisha
and Marco for investigation. Police investigator Located Kisha, and Marco on their apartments in
Quezon City

and they were taken into custody for questioning.

• In the questioning of Marco, the IOC asked, how are they related with Geronimo. According to his

statement, He is an associate of Geronimo in a RENT-A-CAR business for almost years, they have been

partners in business for yrs.

• Background information's of Marco were checked and it was known that Marco has a criminal record
of drug

pushing and was released after two years of incarceration due to technicalities in his arrest.

• The IOC also asked about the war of words of the two before Geronimo was dead and Marco stated
that it

was because of his failure to pay the amount of 300,000.00 pesos, a debt he promised to pay in 3
months

after his release from jail. The lOC also asked how are they related to Kisha and Marco answered that
Kisha

was his Ex-girlfriend.

• On the conduct of investigation Kisha. She said that she was working as Geronimo's secretary in all of
the 5

businesses Geronimo have. According to her records, Kisha is an Accountancy graduate of UST, 22y ears
old a

resident of Quezon City. Upon further investigation IOC questioned their relationship between
Geronimo She

admitted that they have a secret love affair and also admitted that she is a former girlfriend of Marco.
She

stated that she met Geronimo, through the recommendation of Marco as secretary. He further added
that

she and Marco came to know each other 2 yrs ago in an escapade in Boracay.

• According to Estong he heard some noises on the apartment at around 3:00pm in the afternoon but
he didn't
bother to check on it because he was busy doing the cleaning chores. He added that he exactly saw the
dead

body lying on the floor at around 4:30pm in the afternoon after he was done doing the cleaning. He

confessed that he took Geronimo's cellphone before he reported the dead body that he saw, for a
reason

that he really wants to have a that kind of phone and to have the contact number of Kisha. The
cellphone of

Geronimo including its sim card, was then recovered from Estong, an iphone 6s (2016) series, gray color
and

still in good condition. The cellphone was documented and photographed and delivered to the custody
of

crime laboratory for further analysis.

• Based on the results of the analysis on Geronimo’s cellphone, it appeared that Geronimo had a phone
call

conversation and a text msg. with Marco at the day of January 9 around 11am to 12pm. The text
message is

saying that, Geronimo and Marco will meet at a K1V bar for a drink. And a text message of Kisha to
Geronimo

regarding to her resignation and their break at the exact time of 8am in the morning. It was then proved
that

Geronimo and Marco were together at the KTV bar until the proceeding time before Geronimo was
found

dead on his apartment.
