Good morning trainees Welcome to surallah national agricultural school one of the best agricultural
training institution in Region XII.

I am Blessa jane T. Maghunong your accredited trainer v in agricultural crop production NC2, We are
glad that you have choosenour training center in ACP N XII, that you will enjoy our company for about
…….. hours duration. We guarantee that it will be fun learning for all of you . In behalf of the
administration of sunas traing center I welcome you all.

Before we start let me check your attendance. kindly response as I call your name.

Very good your attendance is perfect , By the way I would like to let you that our training center delivers
learning through COMPETENCY BASED TRAING or CBT and its principles.

Competency based training is a principles that focuses on the competency development of the trainee
as result of the training.

CBT has 10 principes.

In CBT, Trainer acts, as facilitator, guide, and evaluator and as trainees you have to do everything that
your qualification requires.

The assessment in CBT is voluntary if you are ready for assessment just call my attention and I will asses
you.

The assessment has two result The COMPETENT and NOT YET COMPETENT.

The ACP NC II has 4 groups of competencies : basic, common and core competencies, We wil focus on
core competencies

The ACP NC 2 has 4 core UCs namely:

1. Perform nursery operation

2. Plant crops
3. Care and maintain crops
4. Carry out harvest and post harvest operation.
