Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM), established in 2009, is imparting quality
Education. Presently, more than 10,000 students are enrolled in various academic programs of
the University. The University has been awarded 21 research projects by Higher Education
Commission, Islamabad in National Research Program (NRPU) for universities, which ranks the
university 1st in Province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 15th Nation-wide

Under the leadership of its Vice Chancellor, AWKUM is making major transformational changes for
student centered learning under the guiding principles of integrity, meritocracy and transparency.

AWKUM is looking for the following faculty positions as per following details:

Terms & Conditions for apply
1. For the positions of Assistant Professor , Section 1.1.d of The Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan
Tenure Track System Statutes, 2016 shall be applicable.
2. Any notification/clarification of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad adopted through
prescribed procedure shall be applicable on the advertisement.
3. The candidates serving in Government, Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies should route their
applications Through Proper Channel.
4. Applicants should clearly indicate the post they intend to apply for and apply only on the prescribed
form, available on University Website http://www.awkum.edu.pk/.
5. Separate application form must be submitted for each post.
6. All the process of quantification and appointment shall be carried out as per Statutes of the University.
7. In case of foreign degree, the applicant shall submit equivalency certificate from Higher Education
Commission, Islamabad.
8. The selected candidates will be governed by rules/Statutes of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.
9. Only Short listed candidates will be called for test/interview.
10. The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of post(s) or not to fill any post,
keeping in view the student need and interest of the University.

Professor & Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable) for the post of Assistant Professor & Lecturer (non-

12. Candidates applying for the post of Professor must submit four copies of their application forms along
with complete set of publications, attested documents and bio-data.
13. Attested photocopies of all DMCs, Degree’s, Certificates, Experience Certificates, appointment
letters, CNIC, research papers and three (3) recent passport size photographs must be attached with
the Application Form.
14. Less than 3.00/4.00 CGPA will be considered Second Division.
15. Landline number, mobile number, postal and email addresses must be written on the application
form. Changes in contact number or postal address, if any, must be intimated in writing to the office
of Registrar immediately.
16. Eligibility in all aspects shall be reckoned upon closing date of advertisement.
17. All applications must reach to the office of the undersigned by January 17, 2020.
