Overview
Achieving AWS and SAP certification across a range of areas is critical to Lemongrass’s success.
Not only does it ensure we have the skills to deliver great outcomes to our customers, but it
allows Lemongrass to demonstrate the breadth and depth of its employees skills to potential
customers and partners.
Everyone requires, and will benefit from a level of certification. The type depends on your
role. This document contains details of Lemongrass’s approach to AWS and SAP Certification,
the minimum level of certification required by role as well as information about support to
achieve these objectives.
Lemongrass is committed to supporting a continued learning and certification journey for all
staff both in AWS SAP and other necessary skillsets. Support, tools and time will be provided
to ensure individuals have the opportunity to achieve their individual goals. However, it is
equally important that each employee takes an active part in leading and investing in their
own training and certification.
2. AWS Certification Requirements
The minimun level of AWS certification or training (where there is no certification) is set out
below. These are the mimnimun requirements. Individuals are encouraged to do more than
the minimum, especially where you consider additional training and certification to be benefi-
cial to Lemongrass, its customers and to you.
Note to access the courses in Italics below you must be logged on to AWS APN Partner Central.

There’s a wealth of training resources available. The level of support you need to achieve
these required certifications will depend on your role and your current skillset, so you need to
determine whats right for you. Some of the key resources are set out below
4. SAP Certification
The approach to SAP certification is being finalised, and ultimately will be a little narrower
than AWS. This is in part because many employees already have the breadth and depth of SAP
required to successfully deliver and in part because certification requirements and the associ-
ated training differ from AWS’s approach
The Technical Architecture and Basis Capability are working with specific individuals to
achieve targeted SAP training and certification currently.
However, if there is training and SAP certification you believe will benefit Lemongrass, our
customers and yourself please take the initative to undertake the necessary training

5. Time and Training Costs
Lemongrass is committed to supporting certification and training by making time available to
do the training and to fund the costs required
Time for any training should be booked against the training code. Please ensure your cell lead
or whoever the delegate to approves any training time in advance so resources can be planned
in advance
If you require funding for specific training or subsriptions to specialist training assets please
also seek the agreement from your cell lead.
6. Recording your Skills
It’s critical that you record any certifications achieved, as well as skills acquired in the Kimble
skills database. This note explains how (https://www.micloudservice.com/Notes/Index?
id=10000173)
7. Transferring existing certifications
When a new joiner starts with Lemongrass, they may already have some AWS Certificates. It
is important for Lemongrass that AWS recognises someone with these certificates is working
with us. To achieve this, we need to link the existing certificates to the Lemongrass APN Ac-
count. The instructions for this can be found here https://www.micloudservice.com/Notes/In-
dex?id=10000186
