STEPS TO CREATE PUBLON PROFILE, ORCHID AND CITATION UPDATION

STEP 1: GO TO Publon website

STEP 2: Select the Login in the Right side Top Corner

Note: Those who do not have the account also follow the above step.

STEP 3: GO TO MY PROFILE FROM MENU

Below window will be displayed, In that select sign in Using Google

It will ask your gmail ID and Pasword enter. If you already signed your gmail, then it will log you in
directly.

And then below window will displayed

Note down the web of science researchers ID

STEP 4: SELECT SETTINGS ICON IN THE RIGHT SIDE TOP CORNER AND THEN SELECT SETTINGS

THEN UPLOAD YOUR PHOTO(SHOULD BE LESS THEN 2 MB, AND FILL ALL THE DETAILS

AND FINALLY SELECT SAVE PROFILE IN THE BOTTOM PAGE.

Now your Profile Photo will be updated. If not repeat the same, sometimes it happens due to
technical error.
STEP 5: Select Affiliations under settings in the left hand side bottom page

In that ADD the institution, department and role

In that please note enter institution name as SRI SAI RAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE, Please DON’T
ENTER SRI SAIRAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE (i.e., please leave space between SAI & RAM)
STEP 6: Select publications under My Records in the left hand side page

Now list of publications of yours will be displayed. If not select Import Publications

Now Select Import by File upload

and upload all your publications one by one. You can also import using ORCHID Link
NOW WAIT
FOR 24
HOURS
After 24 Hours login and then follow the steps

STEP 7: Now go to Public Profile

STEP 8: Select +VIEW ALL INSTITUTIONS & AWARDS

Note: Also Note down the Publon Researchers Link

STEP 9: Select Sri Sai Ram Engineering College

STEP 10: Select View researcher fromSri Sai Ram Engineering College

STEP 11: Please uncheck all the checkboxes

STEP 12: Now Search your Name and confirm your name is name listed. And then Select the
Checkbox Web of Science Core Collection only and notedown the publications.

STEP 13: Now select your name

STEP 14: Below window will be displayed

STEP 15: Note down the total publications, Total Time Cited and H-Index
STEP 16: For Orchid ID GOTO orchid Page

STEP 17: And then create orchid account

Notedown the orchid Link and orchid ID

STEP 17: Similarly for Scopus author ID also. Note for this you must have scopus publication
