Vegetarianism is the practice of abstaining from the consumption of meat. It may also include
abstaining from eating all by-products of animal slaughter. Vegetarianism may be adopted for
various reasons. Many people object to eating meat out of respect for sentient animal life

A vegan diet contains only plants (such as vegetables, grains, nuts and fruits)
and foods made from plants. Vegans do not eat foods that come from animals,
including dairy products and eggs.

Being vegetarian helps reduce pollution of our streams, rivers, and oceans. Pollution
from livestock production largely comes from animal waste, which can runoff into our
waterways and harm aquatic ecosystems, destroy topsoil, and contaminate the air –
which all have harmful effects on wild animals AND humans.

As we've previously explored, going vegan stops the deforestation, soil degradation,
and greenhouse gas emissions associated with meat production, helping to slow
climate change and secure our global food supply.

How Vegan Food Lifestyle is saving the planet and environment?

A vegan diet attempts to avoid all animal products whatsoever. In addition to not eating meat,
vegans do not eat dairy, eggs, honey or foods made with animal products. This can be a little
tricky because animal by-products are used as stabilizers and coloring ingredients in even
simple products like sugar. Many vegans choose this eating lifestyle for ethical reasons, so they
try not to use animal products in any other part of their life.

post-modernism is a term that refers to new ways of thinking about thought. In this era
of post modernism, the lifestyle is simple which i think is influenced by the notion of
preserving the planet and environment.

United nation has dedicated this decade from 2020 to 2030 as an decade of ecosystem
restoration .

What are the aims of the UN Decade on ecosystem restoration?

The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration aims to prevent, halt and reverse the
degradation of ecosystems on every continent and in every ocean. It can help to
end poverty, combat climate change and prevent a mass extinction.

How non veg are danger to beauty and biodiversity?

Non-veg eat meat such as beef. Beef produces the most greenhouse gas
emissions, which include methane, which results in global warming. And we know
that the global warming is a threat to biodiversity and beauty of the planet because it is
causing extinction of species from Earth.

What are your personal preferences? What lifestyle do you think is more
benefical for planet?

Personally, i am vegetarian, and i think i have adapted it for the reason that it is eco-
friendly and is not causing any damage to the planet. Instead i think it is good for
preservation of beauty and health of Earth/
