1. Who has been the most influential person to you and why?

For me the most influential person is none other Cong Tv. Ughm Basically I only watched cong on his vlogs way back
2016 and I can say that I have seen how his career run. And as we all know now what he already achieved, the way how
cong set his mind into his goals. The way how he helped others even if it hard sometimes. And most importantly when
he pushed his career even though life is hard. And in some way it impacts me a lot and changes my personality, the way
how I see my life and how to face my problems. And his career portrays hardship, life problems, and determination in
life. Don’t give up until you achieve your goals and make your parents proud. Like he said “Mata sa langit, Paa sa lupa”
thank you.

2. In what situation lying is a good idea?

Basically we all know that lying is never be a good idea, we know it’s bad, there’s always consequences about lying on
something. And major consequences of lying is leading on a negative result. But for me it depends on what situation you
currently in. Have you ever lied because we choose to protect someone, and we lie to for the sake of the others. There is
this thing called “white lies” where it is not a bad thing at all, as long as you think that is right and you have good
intention to do so. But don’t ever forget that you need to be responsible in every action you do. Thank You!

3. How we look is unimportant. It’s who we are on the inside that counts.

Yes, Definitely I agree on this one. It is not bad if you may not look good on the physical looks or what your physical
appearance is. It’s just what inside you matters the most, being an good looking doesn’t define what kind of person you
are. Yes, some people may be judge mental based on what you look like. But it doesn’t really count at all, what really
counts is what kind of person you are that’s the real beauty of a person you just need to express your feelings thoughts
and some stuffs as long as it’s good and no one is hurting. Just be who you are and always don’t compare yourself to
others we are all unique. Thank you!

4. When it is okay not to be okay?

Well the answer to that question is simple. You asking when? The answer is anytime, don’t push yourself too hard. It is
okay not to be okay at the time when you are feeling down. It is normal and natural were not a robot to not get tired at
all. We all needed a break to the things draining us and hurting us. It is just a way of expressing our self and feelings. Just
mumble a couple of minutes or hours, and think or meditate to relive stress then get back up and fight again. As simple
as that, Thank you!

5. True wisdom comes from experience.

It is quite true that wisdom comes from experience. Because we make mistakes, we learn from them and hope we don’t
repeat them. Or at least try. As simple as that! Because wisdom is like an stored memories come up from our experience
of our past, and it come from our mistakes and other stuffs. To some up the point it is like a realization on mistakes and
to the things that you have done. And to improve yourself also. Thank you!

6. What would you rather be – wise or intelligent?

What would I rather be if wise or be intelligent? Why? Do I need to choose among the two, if I can be the two, wise is
being good at judgement and some stuffs. Wherein being intelligent is a crucial because it is having a good amount of
mental ability. So it is possible to combine the two it is just up to you on how you make them work and apply to you. You
can be wise at the same time intelligent also. Just look at my answer I became wise to choose both, wherein at some
point I also became intelligent for choosing the two. It’s a same concept but different point. Thank you!

7. A sense of humour is essential.

Yes, having a sense of humor is essential. Because for me when you are talking to someone who has a lot of sense of
humor you enjoyed it, you are not getting bored and basically it can make you happy. But having a sense of humor can
actually help your mental health and physical health also. In some point it can boost your attractiveness and improve
your leadership skills and so many stuffs. And having an sense of humor can cheer up others by just your presence alone,
and make them feel comfortable. That’s all thank you.

8. Manners matter.

Yes, definitely manners matter the most. Why? Because basically it’s just a simple etiquette, manners are important like
to make an good impression to others and it is also crucial part of what your personality is. Saying please, thank you,
excuse me, or I’m sorry or simple gestures means a lot. It is basically one of the foundation about what your behavior is.
Being a well-mannered means you are a decent person, and in some point it can also reflect your parent, on how they
raised you. So I think that’s it why manners matter.

9. English is the basis of intelligence

I’ve seen this so many times and I think this is some kind of a nonsense. Why? Because you can’t measure the
intelligence of a person just by having a fluent on speaking in English language. And in some way by saying this can
offend the others. Because even if you are not fluent on speaking in English it doesn’t mean your dumb. And there is so
many variable of being intelligence person, it cannot be measured by just English only. Thank you!

10. Poverty is a state of mind.

Let’s see in reality, actually the meaning of poverty is a state or condition in which a person or a community lacks
financial sources and essentials in life. In other words, the basic human needs where you can’t met. But let us look on
how it is a poverty a state of mind, basically there so much something about this, but let us make it in simple way. For
me poverty of the mind is lack of education, which is when you look at it is true. Unless we solve it by attending or going
to school. Basically if you don’t have the education into you, you will grow old dumb and you don’t know anything to the
things that happening. And being poor mentally can be on how you think, if your self-centered, selfish, and don’t have
the fellowship with people you can be not by money but by your mindset. At the end of the road it is the one who
became successful in life. Thank you!

11. If I ruled the world. . .

If I ruled the world, if I have the power the rule the world the changes would be extreme. There would be equality to
every single person alive. No one would be treated differently and to be judge for their race, religion or gender. No one
will feel so alone, no one will be left behind, no one will get sick and no one will be having problems. Everyone will
accept each other for who they are. And I believe that we can turn this into reality is by education. Educating people is
very important to me. Without education we cannot turn this into reality. And be mindful with this “don’t do to others if
you don’t wish happen to you” which is the golden rule. With this rule, there would be fairness and equality for every
single person in the world. So you see that, you don’t need to rule the world just to change it, but rather make a
little changes. Each and every single one of us has the potential to make little changes that impact others more
than you could ever imagine. In the end, what you should take out of this is to remember and live your life by the
famous words of Mahatma Gandhi: "Be the change you wish to see in the world."

12. Three keys to happy life.

For me the 3 keys to a happy life is having love ones, freedom and healthy life style. First the love ones, no one could
ever be more than happy just by having your love ones like family, friends, your partner in life, co-workers and many
others it is basically package deal on having a happy life just by with your love ones. Second is the freedom like who
doesn’t like freedom, Am I right? Freedom is basically having the feeling and power that you control yourself and you
doing what you wanted to do without no one is stopping you to it. And lastly is healthy lifestyle, having a healthy
lifestyle means you care about yourself, which it can mean by having an longer life. Putting away the things and the bad
habits that can cause you to sick and do exercise regularly. That is my three keys to happy life.

13. Love is a choice.

Some may say that love is a choice and some say love is a feeling. Love is making a choice every day, either to love or not
to love. And it doesn’t mean that we don’t love the person, it means we left with a choice. There is a difference
between feeling love for someone (caring about a person) and loving someone (choosing to love that person). You
may have love for someone forever. But that doesn’t mean you choose to love that person forever. The choice to love is
not a feeling; it is an action. That is why it's so difficult. Love requires you to do something—and I’m not just talking
about buying flowers. It might mean putting your wants aside. Also, like chemistry, the ability to love is not a constant; it
is a variable. It fluctuates, depending on where you are in your life and what you’re struggling with. Sometimes it is easy
to love; sometimes it is extremely difficult. But at the end of the day, it’s always a choice. So yes my answer is love
definitely a choice

14. Is glass half full or half empty? Explain your choice.

To answer this, it has something to do with your mindset, like for me I see it half full. Let’s make example about your
dream if you see and value the process that you do and you see the hardship, sacrifices the tears and sweat that you put
into your dream and seeing that you making progress and thinking that it’s just a halfway into achieving your goals it is
half full or positive thinking. But if you think it is half empty, you focus on the lacking and thinking that it is not enough it
means that you are a negative type of person. Thank you!

15. Money can buy happiness.

Theoretically speaking they say that money can’t buy happiness because this is the reason. They say that happiness
comes from the persons who you love and who loved you. But reality speaking money can definitely buy happiness. If
you do have money you can buy like your dream car, dream place basically anything and everything that can make you
happy. I think I saw something in social media saying that money is like the 6 th sense of the body. Just give the person a
money and it will activate the 5 senses. Witty right? But if you think about it, it is the fact actually. So that’s it money can
buy happiness, Thank you!

16. Real wealth is not measured in money or possession.

Yes, definitely. For me real wealth is not the money or the luxury life you had or the power of your status. For me it
comes from the family, friends and to the people who loved me and appreciate me. The ones who I can always lean on
when the time gets rough. And the people who always got my back without being judge by them. Because anything you
had isn’t permanent it can all be vanish at any moment but the people who know your worth and love you that doesn’t
fade no matter what.

17. How can you tell to a blind the colors of rainbow?

You can tell to the blind person what the color of the rainbow is by making them feel what the color means. Like the
color red means love, violence and danger. The orange is joy, yellow is happiness, green is like tranquility or being calm,
blue is freedom, indigo is fairness and the violet faithfulness. At that point even though they can’t see the actual
rainbow at least they can feel what it is like. Thank you!

18. Parents are the most influential factors in our lives.

Yes, the parent has a crucial part in our lives. Because it is given that they are the ones who give life to us. But most
importantly they play biggest role in our development as a human or a person. They are the one who teach us
everything when we don’t know anything about the world. They help us in every step of our life, they guide us to be a
better person or at least to be a good person. They provide us encouragement, support and everything as long as they
can get it. So be always thankful that you have them.  Parents are the most precious gift of God for us. Thank you!

19. Honesty is rare nowadays.

There is this thing I saw about honesty, it says that honesty is a virtue that is slowly fading from society. That line is
actually indeed now. Honesty it is an overall factors like being honest to your-self and with your peers even if it hurts.
Being honest is rare because they get scared of the consequences of it like saying mean or cold truth or being frank to
others may be lead to judge you. And also being honest is a choice like for example you saw a wallet that full of cash, if
you want to be honest you turn in over to the owner, but they think that it is also an opportunity to turn your life
around, so they choose not to give it away. Those are some of the main reasons why honesty is rare nowadays.

20. Beauty is not only in the eye of the beholder.

When they say that beauty is not only in the eye of the beholder, for me it means like. The beauty is not something that
pleases the eyes. There are a lot of factors to include when we say beauty, it not just the physical structure of the
person. You also include what kind of person he/she is in the inside. You need to be carefully know the person is before
you say he/she is beautiful. To keep it simple just remember the famous saying “don’t judge the book by it’s cover”.
That’s all thank you!

21. Justice is never same to all.

A lot of us thinks that justice will never be the same to all because of the selfishness of the society. Then they believe
that justice only exist in the society between to those who rich and to those who have power. Basically as we know or
rather we see, we can’t blame ourselves why we think like that. Because most of the time we know that the only ones
gets the justice are the people who has a power. And by that we intend to think that justice will never be the same to all.
Life is full of unfairness you just need to hang in there and fight on what you believe in. Thank you!

22. Women cheat just as much the men.

We all intend to say equality for men and women, no one gets the upper hand. And here it is don’t give your-self an
excuse just because you are women. Basically in this issue I don’t have any experiences yet, but as much as I know yes
definitely women cheat just as much the men. Why? Ughm because I think the causes of why they cheat is all the same.
The thing that only different is the consequences, it depends to the person and what the situation is. We just got carried
away by the portrayals to the movies or dramas we match that normally men cheat the most.

23. Does anyone deserve second chance?

We’re always be mindful to this that everyone deserves a second chance and we all intend to say the even God himself
gives a second chance what else are we. It’s always in my mind that everyone deserves a second chance if they have
learned and changed from their past mistakes that they did. Learning from our mistakes means that you acknowledge it
and willing to take the responsibility for yourself. And even when we make mistakes again always give the chance to
learn from it. And a chance to redeem themselves. That’s all thank you!

24. Killing a murderer is moral.

Ok let me give an example if one of your family killed or accidentally killed someone. Is it ok to you that the family of the
died person gets revenge by also want to killing your family? Do you want that? We all know that killing someone was
never ever been a good idea or never been a moral to us. Let’s just give it to justice and let the law to the works.

25. Why you should always put yourself first?

They say that by putting yourself first means being kind to yourself as you to others. You need to take care of yourself,
because aside from your family no one is going to fight in your problems, it is always you who got you. At the end of the
day there is always a possibility that everyone will leave you behind. So you should always put yourself first, it not being
called selfish. Be mindful of that.

Example of Prepared Speech

“Cheating: Choice or mistake?”
Written by: me
“If you don’t cheat, life will cheat on you” Lynn from the movie Bad Genius. A lot of questions running
on my mind about the word “cheating” . What does it really mean? Why does people cheat? Is cheating one’s
choice or a mistake? How does it affect the person who cheat and been cheated on?
A pleasant day to everyone. I heard that line from the protagonist of the movie Bad Genius. Well, if you
have not heard of this movie, it was a 2017 Thai film that was adopted from a 1970 Thai drama series. It is
story of a student who named Lynn is a so-called genius and how does she makes money using her
intelligence. The story circulated on how Lynn helped her friend to pass the exam by not tutoring or teaching
them rather by cheating on the examination day. She used different techniques to help them copy her answer
without anyone noticing it but they must pay her first. According to Merriam Webster, cheating is to practice
dishonesty, to deceit or trick someone or in most easily understand word it is to fool someone. In my own
perspective, people cheat because of certain circumstances they are facing. On examination day, it is because
they do not want a failure grade so they will cheat. On their partner, it is because they see something on the
other people that lacks on their partner that is why they cheat others said sometimes it is unintentional. As
you can see in the given circumstances above, cheating is definitely a choice. You have the time to review but
you chose not to. You have the choice to stay faithful but you chose not to. The effect of cheating will be the
same weight to both person, the cheater and the person being cheated on. How? Simply, you will feel pain
when you found out that someone is fooling you right under your nose. Like us, teachers, it really hurt us
knowing the things that we put our 100% effort was just played around by the students. Our sleepless nights,
stress was backfired by foolishness. Same with the people you loved the most, pain can never be described on
how it broke you knowing the person you trusted the most, lied to you, while on the other hand, the cheater,
they may not understand their action at first, sometimes they seems to enjoy their decision, but later on as
time goes by, regret will come in to his or her mind and that is the saddest thing I have heard because when
you have regret in life you will hold on to it for your entire life and keep asking yourself a lot of “what ifs”.

Before I finally close my speech I wanted to leave a simple saying that I always bring with me, “every
action has a reason”. In every mankind decision there is a reason why he or she did it. And with every action
we made, there is always a consequence that follows that we should be brave enough to face it.
