A)Do you want to go out with us tonight? We are going to Pat’s
house after her music lesson. You know she haves a music lesson at
5 p.m. on Fridays. Then we are going out for pizza at 6 p.m.
B) Oh, Im playing a tennis match at that time. We always haves
matches on Friday nights. But I’m free tomorrow. What are you
doing?
A) Well, I usually go swimming, but tomorrow Im meeting Jane at
the café. Why don´t you join us?
B) Good idea. Im going to the mall anyway, so I can meet you
afterward.

Yesterday, everyone in our house was doing something different.
My brother and his Friends were playing soccer in the backyard. My
dad was fixing his bike. My mom was making a cake and listening to
the radio. And me? I was lying on my bed and reading my favorite
magazine! What are you doing?

2- The photo isn´t very clear. It’s blurry
3- The colors are kind of boring. They’re just gray and Brown

a- If you get bored with the music on your MP3 player, try
downloading radio podcasts instead. There are podcasts for all
kinds of shows. If you are interested in plays, you can listen to
stories or dramas, too. I get tired of the same old music, so I
sometimes listen to an online radio station.
b- We´re going to a theme park this weekend! I´m really excited
about that. I´m not afraid about fast and dangerous rides. I love
them!
c- I hope I do well on my exams. I want my parents to be proud of
me. I don´t want them to be angry at me

5 Activity
2- When a store has a sale, things are cheaper, and you can find a
lot of bargains
3- A salesperson Works in a store and helps the customers
4- I have a ten dollar bill and some fifty cents in coins in my pocket
5- He sells fruits and vegetables at the market. His stand is near the
entrance.

6 Activity
The City Market is very popular market in Kansas City, Missouri.
People come there from all over the state to buy things. Most items
aren´t expensive, so you can find something you can afford.
Markets are cheaper tan stores in the mall, so you can win some
money. But vendors want you to pay by cash. They don´t have
machines for credit cards. If you want to go to the market, I´ll
borrow you a big shopping bag, You´ll need it for all your bargains!
