BACKGROUND OF THE BUSINESS

Ternate is known for its tourism facilities and amenities. Ternate was included in the declaration
of First Tourism Zone in the Philippines as per Presidential Proclamation No. 1520.
The municipality has eight (8) beaches/resorts at present. All of these are privately owned.
Ternate has also historical landmark, the Rock Island commonly known as “El Fraile” or
sometimes called as the Fort Drum. To give assistance to incoming visitors, foreign and local
tourists, several tourisms related establishment could be found in the municipality. Its proximity to
Metro Manila and the presence of World-class resorts further enhance its potentials for ecological
tourism.
Ternate are envisioned to be one of the prime tourism areas in Cavite which are famous for its
beaches and water sports. Ternate was also considered as one of the three model tourism points
of Cavite. It is within the Ternate-Corregidor- Naic area characterized by the presence of beaches,
water sports, pristine forest and historical sites.

 Ternate Beach Resort has no swimming pool. The sea water isn’t as clear but it isn’t dirty either.
I think the clarity of the water is caused by the dark sand.
