Answer the following questions:

a. For you, what is Philosophy and why is Philosophy important?

Philosophy is a study that guides individuals to understand fundamental truths about
themselves, the world in which they live, the reason for their existence, their purpose in life,
and serves as a guide for human behavior.
Philosophy is important because it leads to a deeper understanding of physical
reality. People can clarify their beliefs and be inspired to think about fundamental concerns.
It guides us to better understand what are the right things to do and what are those things
that must be avoided. It helps us solve issues, whether they are simple or complex, and it
fosters critical thinking, which helps us make better decisions. This has a significant impact
on our behavior and problem-solving strategies. Its primary goal is to mold one's worldview,
but it also has a secondary effect on the creation of practical solutions.

b. What are the differences between Morality and Ethics?

Morality refers to the principles that identify what is good and wrong. These are
beliefs that are established by a group. Morality is often inherited through one's family,
society, or culture; it's uncommon for someone to look around for the morality that best
matches their particular ideas. It is not typically flexible, since it is already established,
therefore it is consistent but can change if an individual decides to change his beliefs. These
principles may differ based on society and culture to culture, therefore, typically the society
and culture heavily influenced an individual’s moral beliefs.
Ethics refers to standards established by a third party, such as codes of conduct or
religious principles. It usually answers the question “What should I do?”. It is a reflective
process within which people create choices that supported their beliefs, ideals, and purpose
instead of mindless habits, social norms, or self-interest. Ethics are guiding principles to help
an individual to decide and do what is right for a specific situation. Generally, it is uniform.
Meaning it may not differ from society to society. It deals with the principles and things that
must follow and do.
c. Why is it necessary for us to do what is good and avoid evil?
We must only do what is good to maintain peace and order. It helps to improve the
world and when we start doing what is good we may influence others to do what is also
good. It permits us to push the right values through valuing the good things, similar to having
principles and creating good judgments. You provide yourself an absence of deservedness
when you don’t do what is good. This can be a major facet impact of not doing good things.
This may seriously jeopardize your success. If you don't do the good things in your life, you
won't want to be worthy of the success you're following or enjoying right now. As a result,
you start to self-sabotage, either consciously or unconsciously.
I also believe that whether you do, good or evil things come back to you. When we
do evil things, at first it might be beneficial to us, but there is always a consequence to our
actions, afterwards, we might experience its negative effects. Avoiding evil will prevent
harm, not just to us but also to others. Doing good things will spread positivity, we can uplift
each other. By doing good, you can see and appreciate everything that is beautiful and
valuable in the world. Doing what is good allows you to grow in wisdom and experience as
you become older. It edges you a lot since you'll be doing good deeds for yourself and
therefore the world. Furthermore, you will cause happiness and may benefit from the good
things you will offer to others, however most significantly to yourself.
