This letter is in high recommendation of Mr. Uyioghosa Ebomoyi. Mr Ebomoyi worked as an Extended Day
Staff Member for the Family Life Programs Department at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools
from September 2020 until July 2021. He worked with our Nursery 4 year old students. His role required
him to be responsible for the safety, engagement, and programming of students in an after-school setting.
Mr. Ebomoyi’s educational experience and studies were an invaluable asset for the students while he was
here.

Mr Ebomoyi demonstrated flexibility, patience, and creativity as an educator. On any given day, he would
read to the students, transition them around the building, and supervise students at play and in activities.
He was also responsible for developing and facilitating activities to engage the students.

Mr Ebomoyi joined the program seamlessly during the current COVID-19 pandemic. He was placed into a
group of about 5 students. Although this is not a large number of students, it was and continues to be a
challenging group due to each student’s individual needs.

I had to be extremely strategic in selecting the right staff for the group and I’m happy to say that placing
Mr. Ebomoyi with the group was a wonderful decision. He took the time to get to know the needs of each
student and considered how to make the day a success for all of them. I also value his openness to
feedback, suggestions, and support. He made connections with the students’ counselor and daytime
teachers to ensure there was consistency in their days.

Mr. Ebomoyi was a professional and present team member to share with the students. His calm and
observant demeanor provides a warm, welcoming and safe environment for students. Any institution will
benefit from his contributions. I highly recommend Mr. Uyioghosa Ebomoyi on behalf of the Family Life
Programs department at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools.
