Suggestions for books and videos about litter

Use a range of resources to help learners pick out the most relevant pieces of information so that
they can find out why litter is a problem. Learners will find this hard to do as they will naturally be
distracted by pictures and details which they find interesting. It helps to have the key question on the
board ‘Why is litter a problem?’ and to put down answers as you read the books together. Also note
with learners things which they have found interesting but which don’t really answer the question.

Note: these are suggested resources only. Other age-appropriate books and videos about litter would be
suitable.
