1. What characteristic of tourism transportation best describes your chosen mode of

transportation? Why?

I chose the public transportation like Bus; the characteristic best describe it is the
seasonality. Because most of traveler’s flock at the bus station in holiday season to take
vacation on their hometown. The number of passengers increase also in summertime to
visit tourist places.

2. What classification of tourism transportation does your chosen mode of transportation

fall under?

It is classified as General Passenger transport because it is a public transport that

can be shared and is available for use by the general public and it is not primarily for
tourism.

3. What determinant/s will make you choose to utilize your chosen mode of
transportation? Why?
First is its availability, busses are mostly available everyday as it is one of what
passengers from manila to different provinces rides on to go home from work or to visit
places from time to time. It is also convenient because it is accessible to everyone where
they can go to terminals and avail ticket. And lastly the safety and security, as to my
experience riding bus since I was young, I can say that it is safe and they make sure that
the bus is in good condition before travelling.

4. What improvements/changes did you notice concerning the mode of transportation

you’ve chosen? If none, what improvement/changes would you like to see?

Busses are most used in Manila for public transport, and I think there’s no bus
lane before, but they have now on EDSA. For me, there should be more bus lanes in
different areas in the Philippines to prevent accidents and traffic.
