Description and Rationale
In this lesson students will learn how to write a card; they will think of others that may be missing
people and communicate nice thoughts and feelings to them through writing for others.

Explain that lots of seniors live in homes to be taken care of, but
their families can’t visit them because of Covid.

Explain that this time of year lots of people are thinking about
family and people who can’t see family may be lonely.

Brainstorm some things to say in the cards on the board.

Use best writing, draw a picture, then decorate the front of the
