In this lesson, you should be able to:
1. examine an assess critically the values of historical evidences and sources given into these topics;
2. appreciate the importance of history in the social and national life of the Philippines; and
3. apply the knowledge in historical methodology and philosophy in assessing and analyzing existing
historical evidences.

• Back then, the first man that has been discovered was found here in the Philippines and that was the
Tabon man in Palawan.
• We have great heritage and great history.
• Filipinos was already built before we were colonized by the Spaniards.
• We have already our very own identity and uniqueness.
• Because of these great historians we were able to discover what we are a long time ago.
