1) BAGOONG ALAMANG

Title: Best Choice Bagoong Alamang

Rationale:
Roxas, officially the Municipality of President Manuel A. Roxas, is a 5 th class
Municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2020
census, it has a population of 39,198 people.
Roxas is located near in the open sea that’s why fishing is the primary income to
the majority of the residents. It is one of the reasons that the students chose bagoong
alamang as their business. Aside from this, bagoong alamang will be freshly made
because it is processed after harvest. Bagoong alamang is also cheap to manufacture
because it only needs alamang as the main ingredient, as well as oil, and other spices
needed for production. That’s why the product is affordable for the target consumer.
2) SARDINES

Tittle: Accountigo Spanish Style Sardines

Location: Langatian, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte

Nature of Business: Manufacturing
Rationale:
The students choose to manufacture sardines as their business for reasons that;
1. Fishing is the primary source of income.
2. There is only one competitor existing here in Roxas; and
3. The product can be stored in a long period of time.

3) SALABAT

Title: Authentic Salabat

Location: Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte
Type of Business Org: Partnership
Nature of Business: Manufacturing
Rationale:
Kalawit, officially the Municipality of Kalawit, is a 4 th class municipality in the
province of Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a
population of 23,812 people.
Kalawit is located in a rural area wherein the primary source of livelihood is
through farming. There is a good production of crops and spices, most especially ginger.
For this reason, the students choose the Salabat product as it would be realizable and
costs lower compared to condiments. Aside from this, Salabat has great health benefits
that would make it very attractive in the market and to the target consumer.
