Program Policies
Program Enrollment and Compliance
To join the program, a Partner must complete an application and execute an Informatica Ready Partner
Program Agreement. Program membership will renew automatically for successive one-year (1-year) terms
provided that Partner remains in compliance with all program requirements. Informatica reviews program
compliance at least once a year, and reserves the right to re-assign or terminate partners that no longer meet
the requirements of membership.

Partner Information
By joining the Informatica Ready Program, a Partner consents to receiving program-related information from
Informatica for the following purposes:

• Administering the program

• Providing information to Partner about the program including events and training opportunities

• Inviting Partners to participate in surveys and research; and

• Providing the Partner with information and materials to support its efforts to deliver Informatica solutions,
including security, technical, sales and marketing materials and resources

Overview
The Informatica Ready Partner Program facilitates the creation of connected data by providing Partners
with all the tools, software and support needed to develop connectors, solution bundles and trials that are
complementary or integrated with Informatica. By partnering with the global leader in data integration and
management, you will be able to gain access to hundreds of applications and also benefit from having other
application reading your data.

Created exclusively for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) who need data from various applications and
databases, Informatica Ready Partner Program members can enjoy the following advantages:

• Accelerate data connectivity to your application. By building a connector that provides your users with read
and write data access, you will gain access to industry-leading applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite,
Workday, Amazon Redshift and much more. Informatica Ready Partner Programs members take advantage
of Informatica REST API, connector toolkits, software licenses, samples and developer support.

• Leverage pre-built Informatica connectivity. Your application needs data from various applications and
databases. Take advantage of Informatica’s pre-built connectivity in batch or real-time.

• Validate your product’s capability with Informatica. Test your products with Informatica and provide your
customers with a statement of compatibility and interoperability

Program Membership
Membership is intended to prepare and guide partners who plan to develop an Informatica connector,
mapping or solution with an Informatica Product. Key benefits include:

Informatica Embedded OEM


Partners who plan to provide a fully integrated experience inside their application UI are intended to join the
Informatica Ready Program as the baseline program to get started building a connector. An Informatica OEM
partnership offers embedded products go-to-market pricing and support. Additional benefits include:

• Access to the Cloud Data Wizard (for embedded UI development)

• Custom pricing for embedded solutions

Informatica Ready Program Requirements


To join the Informatica Ready Partner Program, partners must agree to the terms and conditions in the program
agreement. There are additional requirements that must be met during the first year of membership.

*A partner support statement is provided within the partners Informatica Cloud Connector
Marketplace listing and is intended to provide users with partner application and Informatica
version detail.

Informatica Ready Partner Program Agreement


An authorized representative from the company applying for membership must complete the Informatica Ready
Program agreement as part of the application process. The agreement along with the program guidelines
defines the relationship between Informatica and the Informatica Ready Program member.

Primary Contact
Each Informatica Ready Program member must designate one person to be the primary contact. The primary
contact must be an authorized legal representative of the company and will have an Informatica Technology
Partner Network account automatically created when the application is approved. This person submits
the application, receives all communications and also manages the company information, contacts and
membership.

Technical Contact
Each Informatica Ready member must choose one person to be the technical contact for the relationship. They
will have an Informatica Technology Partner Network account automatically created when the application is
approved. They are responsible administering the Cloud Sandbox Access and Not-for-resale (NFR) software
and manage the development of the Cloud Connector with Informatica.

Joint Support
Informatica Ready members must provide a public support statement and provide a support process that they
fully support their application, connector and trial with Informatica. This statement must be posted with the
Connector on the Informatica Marketplace.

Informatica Marketplace Listing


Program members must post their solution as a listing on the Informatica Marketplace. The solution listing
should contain a clearly defined joint value proposition between the Partner Company and Informatica. To
publish a listing on the Marketplace, partners will build the marketing message to be approved by Informatica
prior to publication.

Cloud Academy
Informatica Ready members are provided access to the Informatica Cloud Academy for Informatica data
integration development training.

Certification Testing
Partner application, connector or bundle must be tested and certified by Informatica during the year of
membership.

Informatica Ready Connector


The Informatica Ready Program is designed to help Informatica Partners develop a Native Connector. Not
all partner products will begin with connector development for data integration. Members, who are unable
to build a connector, are required to provide integration templates and a trial of their application in the
Informatica Marketplace that complements Informatica’s data integration, migration or synchronization
capabilities.

Technical Enablement Benefits
Using Informatica Technology Partner Network
All Informatica Ready members have an Informatica Technology Partner Network (TPN) account that allows
members to access program and technical resources, samples, interactive REST API, software and cloud test
sandbox. The Informatica Technology Partner Network site also contains training materials, community support
and request software.

Informatica sends Informatica Ready partners are provided access to the cloud test sandbox after submitting
their registration and accepting the terms and conditions online. Access to software and cloud test sandbox is
limited until membership is authorized.

Adding Users
Members can open additional user accounts. Each new account must use a valid company email domain.

Removing Users
To delete access by a member of your company, send an email to tpn@informatica.com with the subject title
“Inactivate User.” Please include the user’s name and email address.

Informatica Not-for-resale (NFR) Software Pack


Informatica Ready members have access to certain Informatica products to help them develop, test, validate
or integrate their products with Informatica. NFR software licenses are requested through tpn@informatica.
com with the subject title “NFR Software Pack”. The current list of NFR licenses provided to members is shown
below. All licenses are assigned to the partner’s license administrator—typically the primary or technical
alliances manager.

The NFR licenses are not delivered automatically to new members. Upon joining the Informatica Ready
Program, instructions regarding how to request licenses and Informatica required will be sent to the company’s
Technical Contact. Once a request for the NFR licenses is received by our team it may take up to 14 days
to process and deliver the software. Your company’s technical alliance administrator will receive an email
containing the license keys.

Using NFR Licensed Software


All software licenses delivered under the Informatica Ready Program are considered not for resale (NFR)
and are intended for members to use solely in a lab or test and development environment or other pre-sales
situation only, and not for any production environment. Partner may use software licenses to test and support
applications for the Informatica platform, product demos for potential customers in a demo or training facility,
and answering support questions for product(s) running Informatica software. Prohibited use of software
licenses include running any other applications on the Informatica product other than the application a
member is trying to integrate or support, running Informatica software in any production environment: data
center, accounting department, sales department, etc.

NFR License Expiration and Renewal


NFR licenses expire every 12 months and are not automatically extended or renewed. Licenses will be
extended as long as the Informatica Ready member is in good standing and adheres to the program
requirements.

Connector and Application Validation/Testing Services


Informatica provides free development assistance to qualified ISVs to validate their connectors, product
solutions and integrations on Informatica products. Resources include access to the Cloud Development
Sandbox, engineering assistances for validation and marketing assistance to document, publish and
promote results on the Informatica Marketplace. By using these resources, ISVs can collaborate on increasing
application connectivity, building a design win and provide an Informatica Cloud 90 Day Trial for End Users
and increase customer awareness of the partner solution.

Informatica makes the following validation services available to Informatica Ready Program members and
recommends best practices in each area:

Connector validation – allow your customers to access the hundreds of Informatica data sources by building a
connector your application. Build with Informatica Cloud Toolkit and validate the connector for both cloud and
on premise connectivity.

Solution bundle/trial – allow your customers to test drive migration and synchronization bundles. Package with
the Informatica Cloud, validate and publish to the Informatica Marketplace.

Cloud Development Sandbox


Access to a multi-user Cloud Sandbox instance for development and test is provided to all members upon
successful completion of program registration and acceptance of the Informatica Ready Program agreement.
Informatica provides SDKs (Software Development Kits) consisting of published APIs that can be used by
Informatica Ready Program members to build connectors, create a design win or build an integration with
the Informatica Cloud. While SDKs provide a set of published APIs that are sufficient for most tasks related to
data integration, some users require members to access, adopt or collaborate in the development of specific
APIs. To request a custom Co-Development Program, provide access to specific APIs, and R&D resources for
collaborative development purposes, contact tpn@informatica.com.

Architecture Review Session
Each partner may request an architecture review session to begin connector, templates and embedded
development with Informatica. This session is exclusively for Informatica Ready Program members and is
designed to deliver key insight on data integration challenges and opportunities.

Eligibility to Participate in Informatica Early Access (Beta) Program


Informatica runs multiple Beta programs that span product lines in the cloud and on premise. These programs
help partners test next-generation features, add technical skills and understand the direction of the Data
Integration industry. They also let Partner’s prototype a solution and be ready for deployment with an
Informatica Product is ready for General Availability. The objective of a Beta Program is to gain Partner
feedback and partners who qualify and are interested in testing our software are invited to participate.
Members who have completed a connector or application integration certification are given priority.

Included in Product Compatibility List


Informatica Ready certified products will be listed in the Product Compatibility List, upon successful complete.

NDA Product Roadmap Sessions


The Informatica Ready Program team from time to time hosts Product Roadmap sessions at Informatica World,
Partner Connect and on-site in Redwood City to help Partners prepare for future development cycles, guide in
planning and assist in kick-starting new visionary projects. These sessions are by invitation only.

Cloud Academy Training


An important element of the Informatica Ready Program is knowledge transfer through education and training.
Product knowledge is a key factor in enabling members to effectively sell, deploy and support Informatica
with their products and applications. Program members are encouraged to have staff that is certified on
Informatica. Register for the Technology Partner Network and Cloud Academy to get started.

Partner News and Communication


Informatica strives to provide Informatica Ready Program members with relevant and timely information. To
that end, Informatica publishes a quarterly newsletter which sends members updates on new developments,
including product updates, program announcements, new benefits, promotion opportunities and more.

Marketing Benefits
Informatica Ready Program Logo
Informatica Ready Program members are privileged to use the program logo on partner web sites, marketing
documents, sales documents, slide presentations, and other collateral. The Informatica Ready Product logo
is provided only after successfully meeting validation test criteria. The Informatica Ready logo trademark
guidelines are available through the Informatica Technology Partner Network.

Informatica Ready Certification Logo


Informatica Ready Program is a comprehensive validation and co-branding program that makes it easy for
Partners to show customers that their solution has passed the Informatica-specific integration criteria and
technically is ready for use with Informatica Products.

Partner products whose products pass the certification process gain access to exclusive marketing and co-
branding resources and can apply the Informatica Ready Program logo to their application or product as
proof that their solution has been validated by Informatica.

Promote your Product on the Informatica Marketplace


The Informatica Marketplaces is an end-to-end marketplace for Informatica partners and developers to
showcase their connectivity and solutions, including connectors, design wins and cloud/solution bundles.
Leveraging the Informatica Marketplace, Informatica Ready Program members can promote/manage
customers interested in their connector, offer a design win test drive with the Informatica Cloud and capture
leads from prospective customers. Informatica Ready Program members can get exposure to Informatica
130,000+ developers, customers and channel partners by:

• Building a product or connector trial listing

• Share solution related resources

• Provide support statement with Informatica


• Access leads and win new customers

Customers can perform the following functions:

• Browse solutions on the Informatica marketplace by category or technology type


• Search for company or solution listings

• Test drive a product, connector or solution bundle


• Download resources, design wins, case studies and solution guides

Press Guidelines and PR Templates


Informatica Ready members are supported with two types of press releases:

• Announcing a partnership after joining the Informatica Ready Program

• Announcing a Partner’s product as Informatica Ready Certified

Note: The Informatica Ready Program does not support custom partner press releases. Any Press Release
that mentions Informatica must receive final approval from Informatica prior to release. Members who do not
follow the press release guidelines are subject to termination of their Informatica Ready Program membership.

Product Momentum Press Releases


Program members are eligible to be featured in Informatica Momentum Product PRs. Partners who actively
maintain product support, validate new products and participate in beta programs are given priority
consideration.

Matching Social Media
The Informatica Marketplace is a dynamic, high-traffic destination where customers come to learn about
Informatica Partner Solutions that our technology ecosystem offers. The Informatica Marketplace brings
together customers with Informatica Partners to find, test drive, rate and review product trials, connectors,
accelerators and bundles. Partners post integration products, reference designs and other online resources on
the Informatica Marketplace. Partners should make full use of social media channels to increase visibility and
traffic to their own solution listing.

Social Media Matching Offer for Informatica Ready Program Members


Informatica is committed to promoting and driving traffic to the Informatica Marketplace and is offering Data-
Ready Members with the opportunity to increase the number of customers who view their solutions. Informatica
will rebroadcast the social media marketing efforts of our partners, here’s how:
1. Create or update a listing with the videos, screen shots, whitepapers, solution guides, case studies, and
evaluation software

2. Blog about the solution or trial in the Informatica Marketplace. The blog post must include a link to the
partner’s Informatica Marketplace listing.

3. Send the blog URL to tpn@informatica.com

Informatica will highlight the partner listing on the Informatica Marketplace social media channels and include
it in the Informatica Marketplace Newsletter.

Trademarks
Partner is able to use Informatica Trademarks. Informatica is able to use Partner Trademarks. Branding
guidelines and applicable terms and conditions are posted on Informatica.com.

Joint Marketing Events


Sponsorship opportunities are available for Informatica events such as Informatica World and online forums.

Informatica World
Informatica World presents information to professionals in organizations seeking to break down data silos
and learn how to make their data clean, connected and safe. Informatica World connects partners with
Informatica’s 3000+ customers. Partners gain exposure to high-quality data influencers and decision makers
from the companies most likely to be interested in your data integration solutions. Presence in the Solutions
Expo is the catalyst to high-quality interaction with motivated customers. Sponsors will take advantage of
speaking opportunities to direct their key messaging to this core audience.

Informatica Talks Online Webinars


Partners in good standing may submit a request for an Informatica Talks webinar.

Sales Benefits

Informatica Ready Program Partners are responsible for taking first and second level support
for their end-users use of their application and integrations with Informatica Products.
Additionally, Informatica believes that a two-way relationship is necessary for joint customer
support of Informatica Ready Products. The ability for either Informatica or the Informatica
Ready partner to contact each other on behalf of an external customer provides greater
success and higher satisfaction. Upon successful certification of the Partner application and
connector, Informatica will provide 3rd level support.
