Dear Student,
Here I listed out the common guideline for project/dissertation work for UC
& PG and Supervisor allotment list.

Common Guidelines for Project/Dissertation and Viva-Voce

1. The project/Dissertation should be done under the direct supervision of a teacher of the
department. The work of supervising the Projects should be distributed equally among all
the faculty members of the departments.
2. The teaching hours allotted in the fourth semester for the M.Com Dissertation is to be
used to make the students familiar with Research Methodology and Project writing.
3. Each student submits their individual project. (Group project not allowed)
4. Student should identify their topics consultation with the supervising teacher for
approval. Without approval from the supervisor side your project is not accepted to
submit.
5. STUDENTS ARE INSTRUCTED TO COME WITH 3 DIFFERENT PROJECT
TOPICS IN RELATED TO THE FIELD COMMERCE ON MONDAY
(14/03/2022) FOR CONSULTATION AND APPROVAL FROM THE ALLOTTED
SUPERVISOR.
6. Supervisors are maintaining the separate attendance for project work consultation
and attendance is also must for submitting the project report.
7. The project work is not accepted to submit without permission of concerned
supervisor.
8. Credit will be given to original contributions. So students should not be allowed to copy
from other projects or Internet.
9. The viva voce conducted by the faculty members in the department of commerce. The
value of the project is 80 marks and the viva voce will be for 20 Marks. All students
must to presenting your project/dissertation out put through Power Point
Presentation (PPT).
10. Student is must to attend the viva voce examination. Otherwise you are treated
failed and award “ZERO” mark for your project work.
11. The project/dissertation must be 25-30/30-50 pages. The maximum and minimum limits
are to be strictly observed.
12. A ‘Works Cited’ page must be submitted at the end of the project/dissertation.
13. There should be one-page Preface consisting of the significance of the topic, objectives
and the chapter summaries.
 14. Two copies have to be submitted at the department by each group. One copy will be
forwarded to the University and the second copy is to be retained in the department.
