From 5 July to 11 July, I was assigned to Weir and De-Sander. In previous week I was stationed at
Power House where they started to put spiral case on draft Tube.

In this week I Observed about the following activities.

At De-Sander they started placing concrete on wall of a chamber. The concrete used was G28
concrete and steel bar used was 25mm. The height of a wall is 7.4m. The De-Sander has total number of
five chambers which will be use to separate sand and silt from water and from there the water will enter to
Headrace Tunnel. The total length of De-Sander is 70.87m and width is 40m.
