This is to notify you of your key responsibilities as follows:

1. Assist the store supervisor in the discharge of his duties in stock reception,
arrangement and storage in the store in line with FIFO method of stock valuation.
2. Interfacing with the production department staff as to issuance of stock in line with
their requisitions.
3. Ensure proper daily cleaning and housekeeping of the store floor area and all
assets (Deep freezers, chiller, furniture, fittings and equipment in the store’s
custody), as well as their proper functioning.
4. Interface with the QHSE Department to ensure proper upkeep of the store.
5. Regular and well display and arrangement of items on the shelves to ease access.
6. Assist the store supervisor in costing departmental requisitions
7. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

JOB TITLE: STORE SUPERVISOR

RESPONSIBLE TO: (i) ASSISTANT MANAGER

(ii) OUTLET MANAGER

MAIN PURPOSE: (i) Assist Manager in cost management of production (goods)


(ii) Monitor inventories and storage to ensure quality.

(iii) Monitor all invoices and deliveries to ensure conformance to actual


stocking.

(iv) Store management.

BACKGROUND: This position is core to production operation and corporate


activities with focus on inventory quantities management with adequate records. It is a
first line supervision position focused on materials management, cost control and
collation of data for optimum utilization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist Manager in the discharge of his duties in stock requisition, acquisition,
storage and production activities to avoid over-stocking and stock-outs.
2. Ensure compliance of corporate purchasing and stock management policies by
staff.
3. Inventory control (Store/Kitchen/Sales point) with book-keeping.
4. Supervise storage and issuance of stocks.
5. Supervise production staff in relation to movement of inventories from point to
point.
6. Provide monthly stock report.
7. Co-ordinate critical QHSE activities in the store as well as adequate records.
8. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
