1st Commandments
“You shall not have other Gods before
me.”

You shall love the lord your god with all

your heart, and with all your soul, and
with all your mind.
2nd Commandments
“You shall not take the name of the lord
in vain.”

Thou shalt not make unto thee any

graven image, or any likeness of any
thing that is ok heaven above, or that is
in the earth beneath, or that is in the
earth beneath, or that is in the water
under the earth.
3rd Commandments
“Remember to keep holy the Sabbath
day.”

Jesus taught that the Sabbath was

about mercy and was purposeful.
4th Commandments
“Honor your father and your mother.”

Honor your father and your mother, hat

your days may he long in the land the
lord your god is giving you.
5th Commandments
“ You shall not kill.”

Every one who hates his brother is a

murderer, and you know that mo
murderer has enternal life abiding in
him.
6th Commandments
“ You shall not commit adultery.”

Let marriage be held in honor among

all, and let the marriage bed be
underfiled, for god will judge the
sexually immoral and adulterous.
7th Commandments
“ You shall not steal.”

Let the thief no longer steal, but rather

let him labor, doing honest work his
own hands, so that he may have
something to share with in need.
8th Commandments
“ You shall not bear false witness.”

Exodos 20:19 and Deuteronomy 5:20. It

is a typically understood as a command
not to tell lies. Yet the power and rich
meaning of this simple commandments
reaches far beyond the simple
adminition to fell the truth.
9th Commandments
“You shall not covet your neighbors
wife.”

You shall not desire your neighbors

house, his field or his male servant or
his female servant, his ox or his donkey
or anything that belong to your
neighbors.
10th Commandments
“ You shall not covet your neighbors
goods.”

You shall not covet anything that

belong to your neighbors.
