Course Description:

This course covers the basic


statistical concepts such as
descriptive measures, tabular and
graphical representation
of data, inferential statistics,
sampling, hypothesis testing,
correlation and regression
analysis and the time series
analysis. The course emphasized
statistics to solve management
problems. Case studies,
spreadsheets and Excel

This course covers sampling distributions, probability, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing,
correlations, regression, analysis of variance, and chi-square test. Statistical software will be used in
analyzing data.

Course Policies Required Output

1. All students are expected to behave with  Answered course assessment for every

3. All students are expected to take Major


Exams (Prelim/Mid-term/Pre Finals/Finals) on
the specified day. In general, no make-up
test or re-test will be given except when
circumstances warrant but with valid
supporting documents presented.

4. Other course policies will be based on the


student handbook.
