By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to answer the fill in the blanks questions based

ACTIVITIES: Pre-lesson
The teacher asks a few questions related to lessons to the pupils.
a) Have you ever heard of parkour or freerunning?
b) What do you know or can you guess about it?
c) Do you like extreme physical activities? Why/why not?
The teacher will give brief explanation about parkour or freerunning and extreme
physical activities by showing pictures.

Lesson delivery
LO and SC are introduced.

Activity A:
1. Pupils will be taught a few vocabularies related to the passage.
2. Teacher will play an audio related to the passage.
3. Pupils have to listen to it carefully.
4. Pupils have to read the passage in the textbook page 82 silently.
5. Pupils will be asked a few questions related to the passage.
6. The teacher will explain the passage to the pupils.
7. The teacher will distribute a worksheet.
8. Pupils have to read the 7 fill in the blanks questions and answer
them.
9. The pupil’s names will be picked from the name jar to answer the
questions.
10. Pupils check their respective answers in a discussion.
(Differentiation: Good pupils should be able to answer 7 fill in the
blanks questions without any clues. The intermediate level pupils
should be able to answer the 7 fill in the blanks questions with the
clues given (12 options will be given to confuse them). The weaker
pupils should be able to answer 7 fill in the blanks questions with
the clues given (only 7 options will be given).

Activity B
1. Pupils will be given an A4 paper.
2. Teacher will provide a few questions to the pupils.
3. Pupils have to search the answers for the questions.
4. Pupils have to create a mind map by using those questions and
answers.
5. A few pupils will be chosen to share their answers.
6. Pupil’s worksheets will be picked for marking purposes.

Post-lesson:
Question and answer sessions will be held among the pupils based on the lesson learned.
