Field selection for a data screen

MM01
Making field selection mandatory or optional or hide or display for a
data screen by company code level and plant level

Example GO for TCODE MM01

Select the field you want to make a required or mandatory field
Ex: old material number in basic data1 screen
Select the old mat num field and press f1 and you get technical
information it.
Click on tool like symbol for technical specification information

Copy details of the field selection group

Spro-sap ref img-logistic general-material master-field selection-
maintain field selection for a data screen

Choose the field selection group to choose field dynpro

selection from technical specifications(TS) enter the
value here of TS- MARA-BISMIT
Select the field group click on enter in keyboard

You will get the old material field in field selection group
For company-level changes Click position enter MM01 Choose the
required function of field display or required entry or optional or hide
and then enter & save.
Check with your material

For plant level field selection

Create a field selection reference click on new entries for old
mat
Give field reference num like anything you want
Save and go back
Provide the required field required or optional

Then
Spro -sap ref img-logistic general-material master- define
plant-specific field selection and plant-specific screen
selection

Go to new entries give a plant and assign field reference to

plant then save it
Go to SAP MENU ENTER MM01 provide required entries
Will check other plant – YCI2
FOR Plant YCI2 OLD MAT NUM IS not required field
