● If you were to reinvent an ancient roman tradition or practice what would it be and why?

HUMAN SACRIFICE

Ancient Rome has many different traditions and practices. One of them is the worshipping of
many other gods, sacrificing, Roman religion, and more. Human Sacrifice is one of the Roman
traditions where they offer human life as a part of an attempt to commune with a god and
participate in the divine life. Human life has also been given as the most valuable material for
Sacrifice in an attempt at forgiveness.

Since human sacrifices are one of the ancient Roman practices, this kind of practice is a bit
unrelenting. Many commoners that are slaves and criminals don't reach the justice they should
have. If we were to reinvent an ancient roman tradition or practice, We would choose a human
sacrifice to reinvent. Before it was just volunteering, and later it changed to be a tournament of
criminals where two of the participants would fight and the one who would get lost would be
killed and brutally display his head.

Therefore our group concludes that instead of bloody and ungrateful scenarios fighting contests
to become the sacrifice, it is better to look to the criminals who have the heaviest crime on the
shoulder to make him or her a sacrifice. If we were to reinvent an ancient Roman tradition, we
choose the Human sacrifice where they offer their life to please their gods. To give justice to the
one who did not commit a crime, we decided to provide the death penalty to those who have the
heaviest case in the record.
