We asked many people what the best time of the day was for them. Here are some of the answers we got.
Mike, aged 16, a student said:”the best time of the day for me is the afternoon, after school. I finish school
at half past three, go home and play records in my room. I do my homework after dinner.”
Pam aged 30, a nurse said: “I usually start work at half past seven in the morning. So , I get up at six and go
jogging for half an hour before breakfast. I think it is my best time of the day.”
Liz, aged 25, a housewife and a part time typist ; she said: “ the best time of the day for me…mm; it is
difficult to say; I’m always busy. I suppose it is after dinner at night when the children are in bed and I can
watch TV or read the paper”.
Rod, aged 27,a teacher told me: “ well ,you see, my best time is when I finish work at quarter to five in the
afternoon, and I always go to the sport centre in Westwood. I do some training and often play football with my
friends.
