positions. Serving as an assistant professor at Kutztown University, I have the privilege of
supervising Laura Gahagan in her clinical experience placement and in our weekly practicum

Laura’s work as a student is excellent. Her dedication to her work and the teaching profession is
exemplary. I have observed Laura multiple times while in her student teaching placement. In
these visits, I noted evidence of thoughtful preparation and positive student interaction. She
plans student-centered lessons and integrates educational technologies whenever possible.

Laura’s relationship with students reveals her skills as a future teacher. Laura’s interactions
demonstrate personal characteristics such as patience and consideration. Laura has also
demonstrated her ability to effectively balance and meet all placement and university
obligations in a timely manner.

Laura Gahagan is a capable and effective future educator that is willing to go above what is
required to ensure her students are successful.
