I met Steve on the first day of elementary school, when I was six. It wasn’t love
at first sight; it was exactly the opposite – I hated him!
I was wearing a beautiful, new dress because it was the first day of school. At
lunch time, Steve ran into me and spilled grape juice all over my dress. I was furious.
After elementary school, I didn’t see him for a long time. Then one day, when I
was 20, I went to a football game at my college. Suddenly, someone behind me spilled a
cold beer on me – it was Steve! He said “I’m sorry” about ten times. I liked him!
After that, we started going out together. We fell in love, and four years later, we
got married in New York.

Ele disse “Desculpe-me” umas dez vezes. Eu gostei dele!
Depois disso, nós começamos a sair juntos. Nos apaixonamos e, quatro anos depois, nos
casamos em Nova Iorque.
