Teacher: If neither of you own up to it, I will keep you here all night. [determinedly]
Cutaway.
Student: short pause, sir, we leave at four. [timidly]
Teacher: long pause, I will keep you here till four. [slightly annoyed]
Teacher: I shall leave you to it, when I come back, I want an answer. [determinedly]
Walks out of frame.
Static camera.
Hard cut.
Scene two:
Student 1 day.
Stood in a supermarket medium shot of student.
Cutaway shot to food.
Cutaway shot to empty purse.
Static camera turns to leave.
Hard cut.
Scene three:
Walks through the doors and corridor.
Face, full body, hand.
Scene four:
Sits down at computer.
Full body, computer, bag.
Scene five:
Receives a Text
Other: Hi, I’m downstairs are you coming to lunch?
Student 1: No not today I’m going to stay to work.
Phone, face.
Scene six:
Pan around empty classroom.
Looks around checks coast is clear.
Eyes, Face.
Full body shot.
Opens drawer
Takes a pound.

Scene seven:
Goes to vending machine
Side profile, medium shot.
Face, vending machine, pound.
Turn around, approached by teacher.
Teacher: Hiya can I have a word? [calmly]

Scene eight:
Student 2 day.
Rushes through door.
Long shot.
Scene nine:
Lecture on grades:
[Teacher starts off relatively calm but increases in annoyance as the conversation continues]
[Student tries to defend themselves but is defeated]
Teacher: Your grades are slipping
Student 2: I know I-
Teacher cuts student off
Teacher: and why were you late today?
Student 2: I don’t have an answer
Teacher: If your behaviour doesn’t improve, I will have to call your parents in.
