SUBJECT & ALLOTMENT CRITERIA IN CLASS XI

In class XI, the following subject options are being offered in the different streams allotted to the students.
Provisional admission to Class XI would be on the basis of the allotment criteria being given to you. The
Result of first term examination would be taken into consideration for the Provisional Stream Allocation
and the child will have to continue with the same stream till May. Due weightage would be given to
Internal Assessment, behaviour and conduct, sports/cultural excellence at National and International
Level (Past three years) for the provisional admission. However, any change in the Stream Allotment –
would be considered/ made, if required, only after the declaration of the Board Result.
The classes for Optional Subjects mentioned in the circular would run only when there is a minimum
required strength for the class, as per the CBSE norms.

Note:
 Physical Education and Painting can be taken as sixth subject (Additional) in
any of the stream.
 Physical Education would be mandatory to ensure success in Boards for certain
students. This would be entirely the school’s decision/ discretion.
