Company’ Name: ‘DEAL DIRECT’


Our company’s name is ‘DEAL DIRECT’ which is self-explanatory in a sense that it gives our customer clear idea
what we are intended to do. It gives an idea of dealing directly without any intermediary involved in the
dealing process. So this name giving clear idea to our target market which include both buyers and sellers to
deal directly with each other without involving any third person in it. We have used a decent and interesting
character, appealing tagline, we hope that it will really help us to build our brand distinctive which will stick to
our customer mind and will help them to recall it when they need to buy or sell a product.

Tag Line: “A way to Your Desires”


Our tag line is “a way to your desires” which describes our philosophy of providing
a market place where anyone can trade anything and can get thing of their desires
which were not previously in their reach. Now, they can buy quality products at a reasonable price from our
outlet without involving any commission agent or any intermediary. We are providing them variety and choice
to buy and sell.

LOGO ELEMENTS:
Mr. Smarty:
The most prominent thing in our company’s logo is Mr. Smarty, character of ant. This
character actually shows ‘DEALDIRECT’s philosphy of working and its core values. Generally
ant is the simble of wise, group minded, hardworking, perseverance, self-discipline,
determination, teamwork, orderliness, and Strength.
So through this character, we are describing our dermination to serve our customers, our way
of working in a group, discplined in our efforts and strengh of our management team and the
business.
Shopping Bag:
The second elemenyt of our logo is shopping bag which represents that it is
related to shopping.

Dealing Characters:
The third character is two people dealing with each other. It is describing two persons
buyer and seller making a deal with each other.

Use of colors:
Here, in texture, we have used a combination of colors which includes red, yellow, green and blue. These
colors evoke feeling of warmth, love, strong emotions, comfort and calmness.

BRANDING STRATEGIES:
i. Memorable:
In order to make the brand memorable, greater promotional activities will be done. Advertisements,
ads on cable TV, pamphlets, banners, wall chalking will be used to make the brand memorable to
customers.
Easily Recognizable
The brand is made recognizable because of its unique name, attractive logo design and appealing tag
line. These are the differentiating characteristics out of all the brands.
Easily Recallable
The brand is made easily recallable because we are determined to provide such a unique combination
of quality, convenience and variety of services which has never been experienced by people of the
territory. It will be stored in the memory of the customers and they will be better able to recall it
because of the experience they will have.
ii. Meaningful:
Descriptive
The name of the brand “DEAL DIRECT” suggests that it is related to buying and selling in most
convenient way without the inclusion of any intermediary. The slogan of the brand “A way to your
desires” suggests that it is we are providing our buyers and sellers in a most convenient and cost
effective way. In other words, we are contributing in making the households in the reach of our
targeted customers. The colors used are red, yellow, green and blue. These colors are related to the
feeling of joy and happiness. We aimed to see the reflection of our colors in the behavior of our
customers and our employees.
Rich Visual and Verbal Imagery
The logo and slogan of the brand give meanings about the experience and delight which the brand
offers. Its colors are a combination of soft blue , red and rich meaning reside within them which offer
emotional appeal of the customers.
Aesthetically Pleasing
The brand is intended to convey its meanings for long term that will aesthetically arouse people to
respond positively towards the brand.

iii. Transferable:
Across Product Categories
The brand name is designed in such a way that it can be transferred easily across the different product
categories. Therefore, the brand has positive and bright future prospects for diversifying it.
Across Geographical Boundaries
It can also be transferred easily across geographical boundaries. As it is simply the combination of two
English words that is ‘Deal’ and ‘Direct’. English is widely understood language so it can be transferred
across geographical boundaries as well.

Flexible
It is flexible; its tag line can be changed with the time passage in order to keep the customers attentive
for changing and adaptations.
Updatable
It is also updatable like being flexible. It will be given new looks as and when it will be needed. In order
to make them look more modern it will be updated.
v. Protection:
Its name, slogans, logos, URLs will be protected legally and competitively by registering it with legal
authorities and through trademarks.
